So Warm
These are the best snow pants I've ever worn. The only times my legs are this warm are when I'm in bed or a hot bath. They're water resistant, not waterproof, but that's all you need for snow. Very pleased.

Canada Goose - Buyer Beware
I am a big fan of Canada Goose. I recently purchased the Polar Bear Expedition Parka, and now own the Tundra Pant. But, here is what I discovered after the fact that is particularly troubling to me. I did a lot of research on down pants prior to making my purchase, and afterwards, too. I learned that Canada Goose significantly altered their Tundra Pant between 2012 and 2013, which is still their current model. A representative from CG told me that the Tundra Pant of 2012 had significantly more down in the pant than those manufactured and sold between 2013 to present. I found a 2012 advertisement for the Tundra Pant, and it had a much more favorable low-temperature rating to what is now being sold. To make matters worse, in 2013, not only did the amount of down decrease for this product, but the price of the Tundra Pant has risen by 23.5% since 2012. Coincidentally, in 2013, CG sold a majority stake in its company to Bain Capital (Mitt Romney's company where his personal stake is greater than $50 million dollars). Is this how Mr. Romney makes his millions - by buying outstanding companies like CG, quietly skimping on the most essential ingredient of the product while raising prices, and then milking the brand to customers who have come to know and trust Canada Goose? I am genuinely saddened that this once fine company either did not anticipate or did nothing to prevent new management from cheapening its product so dramatically to unsuspecting customers all in a ploy to capitalize on the good name of Canada Goose, but at the expense of its loyal customer base. I am wondering now if the Expedition Parka I just purchased is also a lesser quality product than those made before Bain Capital came onto the scene. The two star rating is because I can no longer say that Canada Goose can be trusted to deliver the high quality merchandise we have all come to expect from this once well-respected organization.
