Review: Well Made - The heater is good quality, the aluminium heat exchanger has no flash on the casting unlike the Kroak, made by hcalory an all in one item, that I purchased recently, it looks like it has been sand blasted. Easy to install but the instructions are not the most comprehensive. I see a lot of reviews saying the remote has no batteries and there is no information on what size battery is required, I must be lucky as mine came with a battery installed and worked immediately without any need to pair. It kicks out a lot of heat even on the lowest setting. I will be trying to unlock more features on the controller to see exactly what is available. All in all this seems like a good product and at the moment I'm quite happy with it, in any case the spares are inexpensive and the units are easy to maintain and there are a lot of how to videos on You tube.

**Q: Does the lcd panel let you access factory settings usually a code entry to tune the heater ?**
A: Yes I believe you can access the main setting system with a code, unfortunately I don't know the code

**Q: What battery does the remote control take? Not the control panel . The actual remote control**
A: It’s a 27af-2c1

**Q: What battery does the remote control need?**
A: The whole unit is controlled via your 12v battery supply or from a step up/down DC transformer as long as it’s 12volt. C/W a 20 amp fuse. The controller takes its power jointly with the heater from your chosen power supply. Great for a vehicle conversion.

**Q: Can it be used safely at night in an occupied caravan?**
A: Exactly the purpose it’s designed for, heating any area with a fixed heating system. 
Providing you install it as per the manufacturer’s installation instructions. In addition always safer to have couple of new co2 monitor/alarms. Air is drawn in from the local environment around the heater so just ensure the heater exhaust is well away outside the vehicle away from windows doors ducts and alike so as air is not drawn back into the vehicle. Very easy to install. You will need a 100mm metal collar to sink into floor to protect from heat of the exhaust from any combustible material you may have in an installed location other than where you are fixing it to a metal surface that won’t mind the heat.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great heater, worked well

I fitted this heater in my Vauxhall Vivaro and installed it under the passenger double seat. I recently used it for 5 days whilst staying in the campervan. It was a bit tricky to install and had to buy a turret and modify it to fit. Also the fuel tank that is supplied was too big and I couldn’t find a suitable place to install it. I bought a smaller 2.5 litre tank which was more suitable. The seller should give the option of what size tank you require and the option to buy a turret. The instructions supplied should be revised. It was only after trying to prime the heater and fiddling about that I found the priming button for the pump on the display. No mention in the instructions about this. The jubilee clips are poor quality and should be swapped before installing. Despite the issues I mentioned, the heater worked good after the initial start up which bellowed out white smoke. I start the heater on 3 and after turn it down to number 1 which gave off ample heat even when it was 4 degrees outside. The little remote fob works ok and also the display panel. It was using approximately 1 litre of diesel per day.
