Product description DESCRIPTION: Eco-Etch Pro Concrete Etcher and Cleaner is an organic concrete acid. It is also the best efflorescence remover. Our phosphoric acid and muriatic acid alternative will not burn your skin, emit toxic fumes, or damage nearby vegetation. PRODUCT USES: A powerful concrete cleaner, cement cleaner that deeps cleans to remove efflorescence and grime in concrete or brick pavers. Our safe organic concrete acid only reacts when in contact with available calcium and lime within then dissolves the very top micro-layers of the concrete to properly deep clean and open the pores that enable optimum penetration and bonding of coatings. SAFE GREEN CHEMISTRY: Unlike muriatic acid or phosphoric acid cleaners, Eco-Etch Pro will not corrode mild metals, release harmful fumes, cause dangerous skin burns, or harm vegetation. Our 100% biodegradable formulation uses a mixture of organic acids extracted from salts that are derived from plant based resources and is blended with a powerful non-toxic cleaning surfactant to enable cleaning as it etches. APPLICATION: Distribute material by pump sprayer or by deck brush. Apply liberally to keep surface area wet during the established dwell time which is typically between 5 to 15 minutes. Review: Bought this for all the calcium build up on my bathroom tile grouts. Works like a charm. My dark brown grouting had gone white with mineralization. This got rid of it, all of it.
Review: This product works! I could see it bringing the mineral deposits to the surface and foaming up. It took multiple rounds of spraying to get the deposits to completely break down but I was fine with that. I used this product indoors on a stamped concrete floor. It has no smell or at least not a strong one and does not burn the skin. It was hard to find a product that was recommended for the indoors that I felt comfortable putting around family and pets. I am so happy with the results.

This product works! I could see it bringing the mineral deposits to the surface and foaming up. I think it did a fair job of etching and cleaning basement floor. It certainly etched well and the odor was tolerable. My wet vacuum had some concrete dust in it so it worked. Concerns: they say it has a ph <1 but isn’t harmful to skin. I wore gloves and rubber boots along with painters overalls. The active ingredient is not listed. Not a concern for me, but would be important in an accidental poisoning incident. There should be a glued on seal under the cap. There was obviously some minor leakage during transport, although not enough to really complain about.
