I wouldn't describe it as super secure, it's a soft-sided container so if someone really wants in they can just cut their way through but if you lock it, at least you'll know. Build quality seems nice, and the size is very convenient. It fits a lot of letter/legal papers. I haven't used the lock. It says "fireproof" and really people should know that it is not fireproof! If your house burns down, your documents will probably go with it if they're in here. The material has a UL certification for flame resistance, but that means is that the safe itself won't catch fire. But it won't really protect the contents from anything more than minor, short-lived flames.
