How would I make the sauce from the powder

I’ve actually made franks red hot from dehydrating ( putting it in the oven) the hot sauce. I make sure the tray is completely covered in the hot sauce and I put it in the oven until it’s dried up. The only thing is that, when dehydrating the way I did, it was very salty and did not really taste like the hot sauce.
