Awesome main string

This string (red firewire 17g) is an amazing MAIN string. Spin, ball grab, feel, & playability duration are all top notch. (so-so on snap back). It pairs very well with kirschbaum PL2, or syn gut in the crosses. I did not like this as a full bed tho. 4.0 hard hitter (5.0s hit harder than me)

pyramid shaped poly

i played this string this morning with dynawire on the crosses. really enjoyed the string...good spin potential, pretty soft...i would put it somewhere between hyperG and black widow.

Lots of spin, not too stiff!

This is a very good co-poly string. I have used RPM Blast (my previous favorite), Big Banger Alu, Cyclone, and a few others full-bed and in hybrid configurations: I like FireWire better than any of them. This string has amazing spin potential! It also has a relatively "soft" feel (for a polyester)-I don't have any problems with it feeling too stiff or boardy. I am using it at about 52lbs in a mid-plus racket and have tried it at 45lbs in a mid (93).

Love Firewire , we are hooked . Did have trouble with intially being delivered the wrong string , but that was not the seller's fault and I managed to sort this out . Will order direct through the seller next time . REcommend this string .

I definitely had a better feel for the strings than when I first used ...

So far I am giving it 3 of 5. This is after using these new strings 3 times. In fairness, when I used them yesterday, I definitely had a better feel for the strings than when I first used it. Maybe it's the instant gratification mindset I need to get out of. I am using a Wilson 98spin Countervance racquet. The strings are 16 gauge and strung at 58 tension. I have been getting compliments on how well I have been hitting the ball lately. I know my serve has improved some as I have gotten a few aces which I don't normally get. I just need to get dialed in on my forehand where I feel like I can really let loose with it. Once that happens, the rating will be higher.

Great control!

I have found this string to give me the best control. Not so much great power but I like control better than power. I have this string in one racquet and another more power string in another. While I go back and forth between the two, this string definitely gives me more control. Will buy again.
