POCOCO Galaxy Star Projector, Rechargeable, with 5K Discs, 2 Megapixel Lens

I have really enjoyed this purchase and really do like it. I’ll start with the negatives… Cons: NOT hyper realistic. Even my photo attached is enhanced with the advent of iPhone auto-enhancements (slow shutter speed). The projector light is not bright enough to display broad depth of color from an (anticipated) average distance to ceiling. Many of the slides are not prime content (many of the images leave me wanting something better). *For vaulted or angled ceilings*- the focus will only allow you to focus on a certain area, meaning, I can focus the image on the apex of my angled/vaulted ceilings but it becomes a little fuzzy towards the perimeter (difference of about 18”). This is very expensive when you consider how much the slides cost as well… Pros: The light caliber and “projection quality” is more than enough to produce wonderful images. I love that it is cordless, the charge lasts a while and I can place the projector in the ideal spots without having cords all over. A number of the slides (Pilars of creation, Cosmic Cliffs) display wonderful broad colors. The rotating feature is great, it gives more motion and excitement to the image. Ease of use, it’s simply one tray to put the slide in and one button. Although the majority of the slides I have been uninterested in, the ones that I’ve liked are amazing. Quiet and soundless. Small size makes its easy to handle and place. The images on many of the slides are truly captivating. This is not going to produce an image that plants you in the seat of a home planetarium... But with that being said, I really love it. The image clarity and color is much better than many home projectors I’ve seen and feels like an (amateur) planetarium. I did not have the expectation that this device would be like the crystal clear image of a powerful projector with professional standards, and that is why I give it five stars. It has by far been my favorite home / bed time astronomy projector. Things to consider; the price of the slides are VERY expensive for what you get… With the device purchase you get only two (mediocre) slides and each “extra” variety pack is over $50 for just a handful of more images. Is this worth the $100-200 you will inevitably need to spend to get a proficient use of it? Maybe, definitely not for everyone. Also, you will want to place the projector in the middle of the room and keep the image on one flat surface. It screws up the focusing of the image to have it rotate over multiple walls, and many might find it kind of difficult to find an elevated flat surface smack dab in the middle of their room.

Speechless. Yeah, the projector is a little expensive considering that it’s mostly made of plastic, and the disks are plastic too. However, I was tired of those really cheap projectors that use green laser dots as “stars,” so I decided to give POCOCO a try. It was way better than I imagined. I honestly didn’t expect those tiny pieces of plastic (the disks) to be able to show this much detail. My real ratings: Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Battery: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Material/texture: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ How well it does its job: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Vibes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Enjoying the solitude of the universe before going to sleep is all I wanted. This projector brought to life everything I dreamed about when I thought of the universe, the stars, the moon… and honestly, that’s exactly what I was looking for.

Never have I paid so much for such absolute junk. I don't know what I expected for $100 exactly, but it wasn't a faint circular photo on a small portion of the ceiling. In a normal-sized room, with this thing on a coffee table, it projected an image about 5-6 feet in diameter of dots of light, stars. Having seen it, I wouldn't have paid $10, no exaggeration. I immediately recalled my dad projecting home photos on the wall when I was a kid in the 1960s. They were faint, a little blurry, and mostly uninteresting. That's a perfect description, except I sharpened the images on the POCOCO Galaxy Star Projector by turning the focus wheel until the faint, small, circular image was as sharp as it could be. It was hard to tell, really. Whom was this meant to impress? I could go on, but suffice it to say: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS REMARKABLY POOR PRODUCT. It is really laughable. Is this a joke? That is, of course, only my most humble opinion. (Now say something good ... okay.) It was easy to open, assemble, and operate. A young child could do it. But beyond age 3, I am not sure that child would be impressed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely love our POCOCO Galaxy Projector! We originally got it for our son Weller, and it has quickly become one of his favorite things. He gets so excited when we turn it on at night, and it has become such a fun part of our bedtime routine. The projections are seriously impressive. The images are incredibly clear, bright, and detailed, and once the room is dark it really feels like you’re looking up at the night sky. It’s also surprisingly relaxing — we’ve found ourselves enjoying it just as much as he does. It was super easy to set up and use, and the projector itself feels very well made. I also love that it has a clean, modern design, so we don’t mind leaving it out in his room. Definitely one of those purchases that ended up being even better than we expected. If you have a kid who loves stars, space, or anything involving the night sky, I can’t recommend it enough!

Starting with the good part! It’s great! The image can be adjusted if it’s too blurry, simple process. The projector itself is adjustable too. So you can angle it to point straight up or at other angles, I don’t think it bends below 45 degrees though. Regardless the detail is perfect. It can be used as a decent night light, depending on which disks you bought. Also the light intensity is absolutely perfect! I’m definitely buying more discs too. And the general aesthetic and look, especially while gardening, is immaculate. 8/10 for sure! Now for the “bad”. It’s in quotations because it’s not actually anything bad. It has an adjustable magnifier, which is a plus but it can be moved a little too easily. There’s no micro slots or friction. Because of that, finding the precise position when adjusting the image is a tiny bit annoying (I don’t have surgeon steady hands) If you have a high ceiling with no tall or high up desk/counter, or shelves, this purchase isn’t really for you! Although the resolution is great the magnifying glass or whatever they use to project and expand the small image isn’t all that powerful. If you have a lower or even just above average ceiling then you’ll be fine! I found finding the perfect spot to place and point the projector difficult, not hard just difficult. If it’s up against a wall the ends of the image becomes distorted or blurry. Having it in the middle of my room fixed that problem right up but now it just sits awkwardly in the middle of my room on the floor lol until I buy a desk or nightstand. Not so much bad, more so inconvenient and tacky looking. This part isn’t bad at all, just depends on how you use it, but the battery life isn’t very long. I use to use it as an all night type of aesthetic but it dies after like 2 or 3 uses. Not bad but you’ll find yourself plugging it in a lot if you use it like that. So Instead I just have it on with the convenient 15, 30, or 60 minute timer which solves that problem. The price of the other discs. $50 for a bunch of tiny discs is slightly offensive. Strictly because of the price for size/amount. I love space, I love this product. But it’s funny that I’m procrastinating just to buy more. I want to, and am going to. But only when I’m ready to drop 50 on an item(s) I’m only gonna use for 15 maybe 30 minutes every other night lol (I have more important things to spend $50 on thanks to inflation) Going back to the magnifying of the image. Personally I wish they used something more capable. I use to have a high ceiling, obviously, but the image was always barely acceptable. And of course I didn’t have a choice in the height of my ceiling. However, now that I have a just above average height ceiling the image is way better! But it’s just not quite what it could be. Like I said before, this item needs a good angle, both itself and according to where you have it in the room to point it. Some people have a nightstand, or desk, or shelves or whatever else they could use. But if you’re like me and for some totally understandable and legitimate reason you don’t have any of those things in your room yet, maybe wait before buying. Thats literally the only thing that actually needs improvement In my strict opinion. Again, I will buy more discs, this is a great and cool product, and it’s definitely worth the buy. The “bad” parts were merely warning signs for those in similar situations. Of course I still highly recommend you this product 🖤

I have bought a few of those cheap star projectors over the years and honestly they were always a letdown. Blurry, dim, or the colors looked nothing like the listing. I went back and forth on this one because of the price, but I am so glad I finally got it. The image is insanely sharp and bright, it fills my entire bedroom ceiling and the detail on the galaxy discs is unreal. I have been falling asleep with it on every night. Swapping the discs is easy and each one looks totally different, so it never gets old. Setup took maybe two minutes out of the box. If you are on the fence like I was, just get it. By far the best one I have owned.

We really liked this at first and bought extra slides. My son uses almost every night at bedtime, but last month it started making a click noise every so often and now won’t turn on for even a full minute. Idk if it’s because we use it for 30-60 minutes each night or what, but we bought it at the very end of June and now it’s mid October, so it barely lasted 3 months and I’m super disappointed at that. The quality is good until it suddenly isn’t :/ im hoping i can find a different brand that can use the discs because we have so many and its $50/pack whompwhomp.

I really like the ombré color from light pink to a light indigo of the galaxy projector. It was a nice surprise, although highly expected for the price, that it came with 2 discs: one Westerlund as a “gift” and the Diamond stars, which I find a lot nicer. While the Westerlund is more colorful, I found it to be blurry and not nearly as defined as the Diamond Stars one. It doesn’t cover a very large area, but that all depends on where you have it. The further away from the ceiling it is, the more coverage you get, although it does get blurrier. I’d say this is best for small rooms maybe, unless you don’t care about having your whole ceiling covered. It is rechargeable, so it doesn’t need to be plugged in for use, which makes it easy to move from room to room since I know my kids are going to be fighting over it! It does come with a USB charging cord though. My son really likes astronaut and space things, so this will definitely add a nice touch to his room. You could definitely get lost in thought by just staring at it. It’s very peaceful. I tried it in the daytime and it was nice to see that it was still decently bright enough, so in the dark, of course, it’ll look a lot better and clearer. I like that it has a timer setting so it’s not running once you fall asleep, and you can also use it in still mode or have it slowly rotate the image. It is also very simple to change the discs, and they each come with a case to keep them safe. I would love to get more discs and see what wonders we’ll witness, but they run for like $45-50 if I’m not mistaken, however they do come with 6 different scenes. It definitely is a neat little machine, but I had to give it the 3 stars because for $100+ is a bit much for what it is, plus having to spend half as much in getting new discs…it adds up. However, if you can spare the change then I’m sure you’ll be happy with it.

This is a good product and I enjoy it, however I would have liked for it to be stocked in an Australian fulfilment centre for faster delivery, it took 2 months to come from the United States which is atrocious. They must operate at a snail pace over in the US and not realise or care that their is daily cargo flights from Los Angeles to Brisbane (nearest capital city to me). The extended delivery time really dented my enthusiasm for this product but I am glad it arrived eventually.

Las proyecciones se ven muy bonitas, nítidas y con colores súper lindos 😍 Tomé estas fotos para que pudieran ver cómo se ve realmente y juro que no edité las imágenes ni les agregué ningún filtro. Simplemente apagué todas las luces y puse la cámara en modo nocturno, además hay que ajustar el lente dependiendo de la distancia 💫 Me encanta y es perfecto para relajarse o simplemente disfrutar de una película o serie 🫶🏻 Definitivamente superó mis expectativas y estoy encantada con cómo luce la proyección en persona 💗

I recently got the POCOCO Galaxy Projector for my daughter’s bedroom, and it’s quickly become her favorite bedtime companion. Every night before going to sleep, she insists on turning off the lights and letting the projector fill the ceiling with bright, colorful space images. It’s surprisingly immersive—her entire room lights up, making it feel like she’s drifting off under the stars. One thing I really like about this projector is how quietly it rotates. There’s almost no noise at all, which keeps the relaxing mood and doesn’t distract her as she’s falling asleep. I also appreciate how simple it is to adjust the focus, so I can get the images just right on the ceiling without a fuzzy edge. We usually keep the projector at about two meters from the ceiling, and it still looks sharp and clear. The built-in timer functions are a big plus too. On nights when we’re extra tired, I don’t have to remember to turn it off—having it automatically shut off after a set time is really convenient. And because it’s rechargeable, there aren’t cords all over her room. One charge lasts long enough for our nightly routine without having to plug it back in. Energy efficiency is another big highlight. I was actually impressed to see it has an A+++ rating, which means I don’t have to worry about wasting electricity or running up my bill. Plus, it’s nice knowing it’s a bit better for the environment. The extra projection discs you can buy are a fun option if you want more variety—so far, we’ve stuck with the two that came in the box, but I’m already thinking about getting a few more as a treat. Overall, the POCOCO Galaxy Projector has been a wonderful way to add some magic to bedtime. Our daughter looks forward to it every night, and it really sets a calming tone for her to drift off into dreamland. If you’re looking for something to make bedtime (or any room) feel more special, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Me ha sorprendido mucho la calidad de la proyección. Se ve muy nítida, los colores son muy bonitos y cuando ajustas bien el enfoque se aprecian muchísimo los detalles de las imágenes. Es muy fácil de utilizar y queda genial para crear ambiente en una habitación, especialmente por la noche. También me gusta mucho que puedas cambiar los discos y tener diferentes proyecciones en lugar de ver siempre la misma imagen. El proyector funciona perfectamente, es silencioso y el diseño también es bastante bonito y compacto. En mi caso venía todo correctamente empaquetado y con sus accesorios. Si buscas un proyector de galaxias para decorar una habitación o un setup, cumple perfectamente con lo que esperaba

I’m absolutely in love with this projector! I chose the blue and pink gradient version, and it is even more beautiful in person. The colors create such a dreamy, immersive atmosphere and instantly transform the entire room into a gorgeous galaxy and starry sky. The image quality is incredibly crisp and clear, and I love that it can display either a static image or a rotating projection, which makes the experience even more immersive. I’ve used it in my bedroom, at my computer desk setup, and in the living room, and it looks beautiful in every space. Another thing I really appreciate is how quiet it is. It’s perfect for leaving on while relaxing or falling asleep without an annoying motor or distracting noise. The timer function is also such a great feature for bedtime since I can set it and let it turn off automatically.
