Are these screws 8-40 on thread count?

I don’t know but they fit directly on my Kimber govt. 1911 45acp. I replaced the original screws that the 1911 came without any other upgrades on the grips. Simply took off the original screws and replaces them with these.

Is the gold tin coated? trying to match kimber rapide dawn barrel
