This card has no integrated circuit or interface that might impact of factor in any compatibility issues. Is just a copper trace that bypass the SSDs to another connector type.

can i add a heatsick with it?

Yes you can, we recommend our own TP02-M2 heatsink to use with ECM22.

How can i disable the LEDs?

You cannot disable the LEDs for ECM22. If you must have an adapter that does not include LEDs, then please consider getting ECM20 instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01798WOJ0
