Great fountain! Update 60+ days later- Still silent, as long as it’s on a flat surface and clean. My cat kept switching from the spout to the edge, where it spilled out and but they sell a spill guard for it! So I guess this is a thing with many cats. It’s $9, and works very well, shield the sides from your cat drinking off the ledge. Still love the fountain, love being able to see how much my cat drinks, and how it reminds me to clean and refill the water. Love it still and no issues. Update 30 days later- The noise sometimes gets louder or a slight ticking sound, and I have to shake it a little so the piece inside readjusts to make it stop, but it’s still pretty dang silent. Seems as long as you keep it clean, and it’s perfectly flat it will stay silent. My cat stopped using the spout part after a week or so, and started drinking from the very edge, so water would spill out on the floor and under the base. I’d have to dry underneath it everyday. I removed the spout and used the fountain as a bubbler which seemed to fix the issue, but after a week or so, again started drinking from the edge. I added the spout back, and again she started drinking from the spout. Trying different things like elevating it to see if it will make a difference. Edit: I’ll add a video of the whirring sound I mentioned below, but again, unless you’re pushing your face right next to it, you won’t hear it. You can see when I film above the fountain it’s virtually silent. A foot away, you won’t hear it. My cat didn’t want to use her other plastic fountain anymore for some reason, she would only drink out of a random cup I would purposefully leave out for her. I set up a camera near that area and noticed she was only drinking maybe once a day. Which isn’t enough. So I decided to give this rather expensive fountain a try and I’m so glad I did. My cat loves it! Why? I’m not sure and I don’t care. She is drinking up to 6 times a day now and I’m so happy. I thought she would be put off with the falling water from the spout so for the first week I just left it off to act as a sort of bubbler fountain. I added the spout shortly after and she loved it more. So good news! The fountain is right near my bed, and it’s very quiet. Not completely silent, if you put your face right next to it, you can hear the whirring but it’s so low that you can’t hear it from a foot away. It had a very classy and has a nice look so it complements the room nicely, and it’s easy to clean. My only complaint is taking off the top part to add a new filter, it’s a bit scary because you think you’re going to break it. I’ve only changed the filter once since I bought it so I can’t say if it eventually will or not. Will update if it does! Haha The app is pretty good, as long as it on a flat surface, it will notify you when your cat drinks. I know that’s accurate because I have the camera set up still and it has recorded the same times. As to how accurate the intake amount is, I’m not too sure, that would be hard to keep track of, but it does tell you how long your furry friend has been drinking and logs the time and also if they have met the water i take goals you can set. Besides that, I love this fountain and I’d gladly recommend it. The stainless steel bowl part is a good touch as well, as cats tend to get terrible chin acne if plastic bowls aren’t cleaned daily, so this is much easier to handle. I rinse it down every 2 weeks. You won’t be disappointed. Filters are cheap too.

This is a fantastic water bowl, I'm able to keep track of not only when my cat drinks, but how much she is drinking, this is very useful for when I go to the vet. She seems to love it as well, sometimes I catch her just sitting and staring at it. It's very easy to clean, I disassemble it and throw everything into the dishwasher. The app reminds you to change the filter and will even tell you when the water level is low, it's actually quite smart. It's also silent, there are times I forget it exists. It holds more water than one cat will go through in a week which I find a huge benefit because its size ensures she doesn't run out of water. Seems high quality and I would buy again.

I originally gave this a bad review since the pump stopped working after 8 months but this was on me. I wasn’t taking the pump completely apart for cleaning. You must take everything apart and let it soak in vinegar and warm water for up to 30 mins. The pump is now back to how it was at day 1. Just make sure to clean properly and you should be good. The app is great. I have a cat sitter when we take long trips and being able to monitor their water from my phone keeps me at peace that they are okay.

It’s quiet. Relatively easy to clean. Easy to replace filters. Water flow is not bad. The size of it is nice. It’s not heavy to carry when full of water. The cat likes it. The only issue I have is that the WiFi requirement is 2.4GHz. My WiFi is 5GHz. The device will not connect to 5GHz. I reached out to PETLIBRO support and they said to set up a separate WiFi band. I tried it, and still had issues getting it to connect. Plus when you do that, you have to re-connect ALL your devices to your WiFi again. And you have to figure out which WiFi band to connect to. So, I just use it for a filtered water bowl.

I originally purchased this because my cat loves water, and I thought this would be a fun and healthy way to keep him hydrated. The setup was super easy, and the companion app works really well. Pros: Easy to assemble and connect to the app My cat absolutely loves it and drinks more water than ever The design is sleek and quiet Cons: The automatic cleaning cycle isn’t enough on its own. I found that this fountain really needs to be rinsed every 2 days and refilled with fresh water. At least once a week, I fully disassemble the tank (the parts that separate) and wash them in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap. Make sure to take apart the motor and clean the tiny propeller and other small pieces — this is where buildup happens. After noticing my cat had mild eye irritation, I researched more about maintaining pet fountains and discovered the motor propeller had developed a pink, slimy film. Since then, I clean it regularly and use distilled water, replacing the filters every two weeks. The difference in both my cat’s health and the fountain’s performance has been huge! The replacement filters are a bit pricey, but Amazon sells compatible options (just note that they don’t include a new cleaning brush). I did have to contact customer service once when the sealing ring came loose — they were a bit slow to respond, but the product does come with a 2-year warranty. Despite the extra cleaning effort, I’d definitely recommend it. My cat loves it so much that he actually stalks me when I remove it for cleaning until I put it back — that says it all! 🐾

This worked wonders for my cats! Moving water to attract cats yet it’s nice and quiet. Very easy to clean and fits perfect in my kitchen. My cats love it! Also recommend buying the filters here on Amazon instead of the Petlibro app, it’s more affordable
