Great deck for starters, playable right out of the box

First deck and 2 years later I still love playing it. Very easy for new players amd very upgradeable

I was bitten by the Commander bug recently. While I have several hundred cards and a couple dozen decks already built, I started diving into this new game variant after playing with some friends. Commander can quickly become a money-game, with people spending hundreds or thousands of dollars to fine-tune a single deck. If that's something you're willing and able to do, great. But, if you're like me and are frugally-minded when it comes to gaming, you should ABSOLUTELY grab one of these pre-constructed decks. I would recommend it even if it were $50-$60, but because of the fact that it's far less than that (at the time of my purchase) you simply can't beat it. By comparison, I've built a deck along the same theme for the same amount of money ($20-$30). That deck doesn't compare to this one, even though mine is rather well-built, if I do say so myself. This one came with several cards I've been looking for, that are each about half the price of the deck itself. If you know anything about building decks, you probably will want to do some tuning. But, if your goal is to open it up and start having fun right out the box, you can absolutely do it with this deck. You might even be able to open it right up, jump in a game, and win against people who have poured serious money into theirs; it's THAT good. All the cards were in mint-condition too, still in original packaging, so if that's a concern of yours you'll be fine.

Great deck

Deck itself is great and fared pretty well against my friends. Ramp can be a little tricky depending on what you draw, so adding your own cards to help with lands or mana could be useful. I found I always ended up being a big threat people teamed up against since it is a heavy aggro deck with potential to wipe people out a few turns in. Also the box came beat up but the cards themselves were fine.

This was a middle of the road pull. Got cards I didn't already have, but nothing amazing either. I wasn't disappointed though.
