What tremendous electric razor.
An amazing razor. Over the last several months that I have used it, a recharge was necessary only a couple of times. The shave is really close and very quick. For the price, a terrific buy. I bought a second one to keep for the day when this razor stops working but I do not think that will be any time soon.

Good Low Priced Shaver
Gave this to my dad who is no longer able to shave with a regular razor. It does a good job and he is happy with it.

Remington Electric Shaver
Priced right, works good, easy to clean (brush included) You may also find a new toothbrush helpful for cleaning blades and cliping collection compartment. Also has sideburn trimmer. If you like a stumbled beard, look, attachment included. Only negative, when charging red light comes on but never goes out even when fully charged.

Works great and quick shaving
I came from small little electric razors that would only last a month or so before the motor died out. Upgrading to this felt amazing. The blades are super smooth and you can’t feel it cutting any hair off or bogging down when it cuts. The way the head bends along your chin/neck helps it keep contact the entire time, and it only took like 15-20 seconds to shave under my chin and neck. It makes my face feel super smooth compared to my old razors. It also has a nice razor on the back that helps trim sideburns and other hard to get to/precise spots. The only downside is that the charging light doesn’t have an indicator to when it’s fully charged.

Jury is Still Out
I'm giving it high marks for now. First thing I observed is that its build it very flimsy compared to my Norelco. I understand that one gets what they pay for. It's all light weight plastic; even the stubble attachment is flimsy. With that being said, it does what it's intended to do so I'm not complaining. FYI: I'd buy a Norelco if I'm in the market. I was driven to this one by it coming with the stubble attachment. Update: This device is a perfect example of "Get what you pay for." It's not expensive thus, Remington cheaping out on the build quality and, to a degree, the reliability. The battery doesn't last nearly as long as my old Norelco nor is the shave as smooth. The stubble attachment isn't very good either in that I have to go over areas over and over for it to be uniform. In short, I've put the Remington in mothballs and have gone back to my Norelco. That one feels very well built and cost about $30 more than this one. I'm buying a new Noreclco when they go on sale before Christmas. Hope this helps.

Remington Electric Razor/REMINGTON Power series flex plus
(9-5-19) I ordered this on 9-6-19 and paid for 3 day shipping, got it the next day!! Thanks Amazon. Clearly I did not get the same old shaver. I can see that just by looking. Thought I was getting. I'm sure Amazon did not sent me the old model. This new one is a much better design, looks better and it even looks much stronger. I don't know what model this is. It says it is. Clearly I did not get the same old model. I used my old one so much the model number worn off. Very hard to see. The old shaver in red & black, new shaver in blue & black. I'm keeping this new one for sure. I gotta shave like 1-2 a day.UPDATE9-9-19 I look both shavers online. It looks like Amazon give me "REMINGTON PR1335 Power series flex plus" now I had "Remington PR1335 R3000 Series Men's Electric Razor" both with same model number........ (The old shaver in red & black, new shaver in blue & black. ) Not that I'm complaining, I really like Power series flex plus one a lot better then the other one with the same model I say again. I wanted to make my point was clear. I PAID FOR 3 DAY SHIPPING, GOT IT THE NEXT DAY!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AMAZON!!!! KEWL BEANS!!!! UPDATE 7-4-20 My shaver the old one in red & black doesn't hold a charge anymore. I let it charge for more than 30 hours, will not last long much more than one good shave now. When I got it the instructions said charge for 16. (blue & black one) That's a joke now....... Not even 24 hours now. Time for a new one I guess, again.UPDATE12-15-20 Still have my blue & black one. Works great still. I have to shave everyday, so I put in on the charger when I'm done no matter what.

best shaver ever
This shaver is awesome! First of all, it doesn't give you a clean shave, it tends to miss some spots. But that is great if your into the rough and tumble look. Before this shaver, in order to achieve the look want, I had to go down on an Alpaca. Now I don't have to worry about that farmer calling the police on me anymore! Also, the shaver lasted a whole 3 months! Given the cost of the shaver, that's less than a dollar a day! So hurry up and buy this, in fact buy two, you won't regret it

Decent for the price
It's decent. Good price but the old saying is you get what you pay for..... It should shave my chin baby smooth but it just gets the surface.

It is a decent razor but how come they can't make em the way they used to? I think one small bump would be enough to break it

Remington has always been one of 'those brands' that you remember from years back, especially if you're older than 20 that is. Back then Victor Kiam, the owner and company pitchman, would be in commercials and say his patented line, "I liked the shaver so much, I bought the company." He made a lot of believers and, the truth was, he was right. As a result, Remington and Kiam became famous and popular in that era. Then they disappeared. Kiam died in 2001, hailed as one of the last great entrepreneurs of an era where quality and good value were not so far apart. I'm glad to say that his legacy has continued. This shaver works great. It's relatively cheap and, though you cannot use it as a 'wet' shaver, for this price you cannot beat it. This is actually my third Remington Shaver in four years. The first one was not cordless so I retired it after many great shaves. The second one broke when I dropped it on the floor and busted the head-piece/blades (if you know from previous reviews, I AM A KLUTZ). I Initially bought this one because I found the replacement head for my last shaver cost as much as this whole new shaver, and was thinking of swapping the head from this one with the other and keeping the rest as a spare. Turns out I don't have too. This shaver works great as is. It's a slightly cheaper model but I truly see no difference in the quality of the shave. The ONLY problem is the pricing and that is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. For me, It makes no sense to charge as much for a whole new shaver as it is to just replace the head/blades. Why they do that is ridiculous. The good thing is that these blades can last a solid year or more (my last one was working fine until I dropped it for over 15 months) while, mechanically, they seem almost unbreakable. If the replacement blades or heads were priced at a more reasonable 20% or less of the cost of a new razor I would buy two or three. As it stands, at this price point, buying a new razer makes more sense. You can get a "better" shaver I suppose, and pay piles of money for it too. But unless you're into wet shaves or need fancy computer-jazz or whatnot on it, you cannot go wrong with this Remington. I've tried other brands of electric razors in the past and was never happy. I am with my Remington and, as long as I can avoid dropping it, I hope to keep this for a number of years. Just please drop the price of replacement heads. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, I'm happy that this iconic brand is still around and still providing great quality at a good price, and far far better than other electric razors I've used before. I'm sure Victor Kiam (RIP) would be happy if he knew it too.
