Bought this to hang over my sink as the Architect for my building has clearly never done the dishes (cooking, put shopping away, or lived in anything fancier than a cave). As I couldn't afford an electrician to get better placed ceiling lights this was the only alternative for my tiny kitchen. It looks great and works as expected, I got a funcy lightbulb so it looks all chic and everything. It's good quality, doesn't look or feel cheap, the braided cable is nice, great choice of colours as well. Would buy again.

I use this for a growlight to raise tomatoes in a propagator near a window, I put it over a wooden curtail rail and clipped it together for the right height. While the switch is useful it plugs into 24 Hour Segment Timer Switch - Energy Saver Plug to come on and off at a certain time of day. Excellent product for a plugin light.

Works and everything but doesn’t have rings to attach a lampshade (the outer casing does come off but a small brass coloured tab on one of the terminals has to be pushed down with a pen or something, whilst unplugged, to let it twist off and is too wide at that point for most things)

I wanted to make a DIY lamp from abase I already had and this does the job perfectly.
