They're good quality brushes and I like that they're compact. They're very soft, pretty solid blending, but they do absorb quite a bit of makeup. I found myself needing to use a bit more of my powder products than I would with other brushes, but that could also be because they're brand new. Giving 4 stars because the sponge portion was already falling out after the 1st use. I can glue it back in which is fine, but I'm also curious how this sponge is supposed to be "replaceable" as I haven't seen any replacement sponges available for purchase through Alleyoop or instructions on how to replace it. So I think that's just kind of a cop-out on the brand's part so they don't have to be responsible for when the sponge inevitably falls apart.
