Nice straight cuts with a sharp edge. Super easy to use. Pretty light weight, which I appreciate. I don’t know how long it would last with heavy use, but it’s fine for me and the price was right.

I've been wanting to get a "guillotine" paper cutter for special projects like greeting cards, signs and event coupons. The traditional ones are bulky, dangerous and expensive. This model is light, versatile, safe to use, easy to store. Everything it promised. I like the openable holder, the design of the blade and the arm that pops out to enable angled cuts. One minor critique is the bubble wrap packaging could be designed in an easier to open and close fashion for storage. The product itself is great.

I make beads out of paper and this was perfect to use to cut my sheets instead of doing them by hand. It works great, I was surprised to see that the plastic piece next to the blade will raise up so you can get more accurate cuts. I could slide the page around the way I wanted to, lower the plastic piece back down and then cut. Blades are good and this was very easy to use. It is also purple, which...how can you go wrong with that???

Bought this in a pinch to make some printed freebies. The blade is sharp and cuts straight enough, but it does have difficulty cutting cleanly through photo paper. There are also sharp parts on the plastic that can make indentations in the paper. Maybe sand those down if you want to avoid.

Got this for cutting signs to fit holders at work. Works great! Cuts thick waterproof paper easily. Makes the job go faster with cleaner results than scissors. Great price! Does the job of higher priced units with fancy extras I don’t need.

I wanted a compact paper cutter for odds and ends craft projects with the grandkids. This works beautifully to cut straight edges. It's got a good grid, a ridge to align the paper to be sure it's straight, and it doesn't slide off the table when you use it. To make the cut, you press the cutter blade button down to engage the blade in the direction you're cutting, so if you want to cut down and back, you tip the blade one direction for the first cut, and the other direction for the second cut. My old paper cutter didn't require pressing the blade one direction or another, so I had to figure that out on my own. Overall, it's durable, it cuts accurate lines, and it can be stored with a minor footprint. Easy enough for my 5 year old grandson to use safely.

I bought this paper cutter for trimming labels, craft paper, and the occasional school project, and it’s been excellent so far. The blade is sharp and cuts cleanly without tearing or fraying the paper. Even thicker cardstock trims easily with a single pass. It is not the same as shown in the picture. There is no extension or opening. The product is just that . No extra ruler for 90 angle cutting as shown the in the picture. Highly disappointed. Not worth the price. There is No return pick up also .
