These Which recommended products actually work. They appear well made and reasonably stylish. Big benefit is that they not only work well, but are easy to fill, have considerable capacity for salt crystals / peppercorns and also not messy due to the fact that they store in a position where the milling output is uppermost. You can effectively adjust the fineness of the Millings too. They are the best Salt and Pepper Mills I have ever owned, not cheap but sensibly priced given that they operate so well. Very pleased.

I have bad arthritis in both hands and prefer the freshly ground condiments. These always look smart and stylisn and more importamtly, they are so easy for me to use. Before buying these I had broken 3 pepper grinders in 3 months. They didn't bounce when they hit the tlied floor :( It's easier for me to hold these two horizontally to grind with them - left hand holds the narrow end and right hand turns the grinder end. There is no problem refilling them either so my OH doesn't need to be at my beck and call to do the job. I also love the fact that there are no litte mouns of salt and pepper beneath them on the kitchen table. I can't ever see me using any other brand, now I have got my independace back with salt and pepper aplications!

Beautiful on the table and able to grind the Salt to a fine powder. Easy to adjust the grind size. Only issue I found is the silver top traps the grinds and so sometimes a lump falls out.

These have a really nice feel to the touch, with a nice but adjustable milling size. These were cheaper here than anywhere else I’ve seen them. My only slight negative is that the filling plug underneath has a very small range of movement. Which is great for easy access, but also once loosened in normal daily use, leaving a mound of jettisoned peppercorns when we lifted the mill for use. But to be fair this has only happened once, just a bit of a surprise at the time.

These certainly look good, though the salt does crust over we find and very occasionally you have to knock it off. Now this is more than likely our own fault because these sit on the side in the kitchen all the time so steam from cooking will obviously affect them. However, the salt and pepper mills we had before (same twist style function) did not get the same issues as they had the salt coming out the bottom so when not in use the part that the salt comes out was sitting on the counter top so no steam can get to them. Keep these in the dining room then there should be no issues. Other than the dampness issue we have, the actual items work well and grind the salt and pepper as you would like it to being adjustable. They are also solid quality feel items.

I was delighted with this set when I bought it three years ago, best salt and pepper grinders that I have ever had and believed I would never have to replace them. However, three years in the pepper stopped grinding and upon opening it up the ceramic grinder in the top had cracked. I thought as a quality product I would be able to replace this but on contacting Joseph Joseph they do not provide them so this means buying another set just to get another pepper pot and at £50 this is not cheap. My daughter has had the same set slightly longer and hers are still fine despire being in use by more people as she has a family and has lots of people over for meals whereas ours has just been used by a couple. So disappointing as I own lots of Joseph Joseph items.

Well made, but messy! The mess isn’t under the grinder but now all over the table top.

Ich habe diesen Mühlen vor etwa 10 Jahren schon mal bei einer großen Kaffeekette gekauft. Diese Mühlen waren super. Tolles handling, tolles Mahlwerk und super Design. Da das Mahlwerk oben liegt, machen sie Mühlen auch keine Sauerei auf dem Tisch. Leider kam meine aktuelle Bestellung nicht an bzw. hat der Amazonfahrer das Paket irgendwo hinterlassen. Aber ich denke die Mühlen mahlen noch immer super, so wie damals.

These are very aesthetically pleasing salt and pepper grinders. I was sick of our electronic ones leaving a puddle of salt and pepper on the table when set down so I was specifically looking for manual grinders that grind from the top. This design also doesn’t allow dust to settle onto the top grinder since it is covered. They are build nicely. Grind pretty finely. They hold a large amount of salt and peppercorns. To grind by turning the upper half, works well and turns smoothly and easily. Very pleased with the value of this item.

Pepermolen werkt perfect. Zoutmolen niet optimaal. Het lijkt net of het zout blijft hangen.
