Even without Amazon Dot or Google mini, I found this plug is very useful in my bedroom. Northern California room temperature is cold in winter. I use a small heater in my bedroom to avoid wasting the energy to heat up the whole house. I use also the heating pad to keep my feet warm in dark cold night. Also I have a massager to my bad neck and shoulder. I always charge my iPhone 6s at night since the battery is losing capacity quickly. I have iPad as well as rechargeable charger, etc.. This smart plug is perfect to charge power to all my devices and gadgets. I like the remote control function to the heating pad and the heater, saved me to buy a timer. Always warm enough to stay in my bedroom. I haven’t tested the WiFi to turn on and off devices yet.
