Excellent quality frame

Sturdy but my dogs aren't chewers.
This is a very nice looking dog bed. It is very strong and small is the perfect size for our 10 pound pomklee. He didn't like it at first because it was up off the ground but our 60 pound GSP curled up in it a couple of times so now the pomklee is possessive of it and sleeps there often. I gave it 4 stars because I was under the impression that it was solid wood but it is particle board with a wood veneer. I also don't like that the screws didn't come with plugs to hide them. It looks good for the price and it's quite sturdy. The soft bed fits perfectly but the zipper seam on the back side ripped while trying to zip up after the first wash (see photo). I dont think the cushion would survive a chewer.

Corners are sharp
Furniture as expected, but the top front of the right and left side rails are very sharp. I have the bed butted up against my couch and managed to run my calf along the edge when getting up from the couch. I now have two 2-inch vertical scratches 5/8 inch apart that actually bleed. I ordered clear acrylic corner guards to remedy the issue. Stickers numberinh the parts leave residue. Assembly was easy, but lots of screws to turn. Seems sturdy but only had it a day.

Worth the purchase so far.
I have 3 small dogs and bought a lg because they sleep together no matter how how many beds we have. But it looks good but if you are using a drill be careful. I damaged it a little bit. Wish I got a mattress that was maybe a inch thicker. It doesn't come with one. I would like the opinion to purchase it with a mattress instead of having to find one.
