Terrible chemical smell, is not 100 % clear, is not good to use for food or cakes.
First, let me share that I am a baker for 35 years. I do not recommend this cake collar to be used for any related food. Have a strong chemical smell, is very strong and your cake will definitely go to an end with this taste of chemicals. Smell so strong that I end up with headaches. In the picture you can see the one on the left is the one that smells like a chemical that is not made in the USA, is from Mexico, I didn't know that. As you can see in the picture the one on the right side is clear, the left one does not look clear, have a light blue on it. compare the differences, and you can judge with your own eyes. also, the one on the right has no smell and is perfectly clear. The only reason I purchase the left side collar, was because it was cheaper, but I prefer to spend 4 dollars more than to risk myself and lose my customer and poison my client and my loved ones. I will return this collar cake, I will stick with my older one, cost more money but is safe.
