ViewSonic VX3211-2K-MHD 32 Inch IPS WQHD 1440p Monitor with 99% sRGB Color Coverage HDMI VGA and DisplayPort, Black

I saw a lot of product reviews talking about a 4K monitor and being disappointed that the display didn't actually go up to that resolution but this is the the 2K version. I'm still VERY impressed with the picture quality so far even though it's not full 4K. Honestly, even if I had a 4K display, I'd probably tune it down to 2K since it still looks amazing and allows games to run more smoothly. UPDATE: 2-months later and this monitor is still amazing. I like it VERY much for gaming and even general office use. The colors are so vivid and the picture is incredibly sharp. No regrets! I feel like my new Google Pixelbook i7 has a fantastic display and this relatively inexpensive monitor was pretty close except on a MUCH larger display. I've played Ark: Survival and Fortnite (UPDATE: I played Devil My Cry 5 on ultimate video settings which looks AMAZING too!) on it so far and it makes me wonder how I ever managed with my other wimpy 19" monitor. The colors are very vivid and the picture is really clear right out of the box. I was able to crank the resolution up to 2K from my gaming laptop with both HDMI and VGA connections with no trouble. I'll have to wait to get my new gaming PC before I can test the Display port option. NOTE: The monitor only comes with an HDMI cable. UPDATE: I finally got my new gaming PC and WOW, what a great view. I'm using the display port with no problems. I've had the monitor for a couple of weeks now and I'm seriously tempted to get a second one to create a giant panoramic screen with dual monitors. I've also had ZERO issues with flicker, the display cutting out or getting the display to "wake up". I got the extended warranty just-in-case but it's not looking like I'm going to need it so far. It's a really solid product. Also, there's a little handle that screws into the back of the monitor which looks like a small antenna. Just FYI, that's to hang your headphones/headset on while not in use. I like the fact that I have a place to store my headset that's accessible but also somewhat hidden and out of place. Overall, you can't really beat it for a monitor this size and quality under $300. I guess the only real "con" to this monitor is that the built-in speakers are kinda weak sounding, but, I mean seriously... who is gonna buy a monitor this big for gaming and not either have a decent external speaker setup or use a Dolby 5.1 headset at least? The fact that it has speakers at all is a bonus in my opinion.

As an author and business plan writer, I require a lot of real estate for doing web research, then for writing. I flipped my 27" on edge to use for manuscripts and bought this 32" ViewSonic for all my web and book art work. It is a stunning monitor to my eyes! Immediately hooking it up, using a high-end DisplayPort cable, the image just POPPED! Blacks were very deep black, colors were vivid, and both still and video images took on a "real" appearance. I switched to HDMI, just to test it out, and found that the DisplayPort worked the best, with absolutely NO TWEAKING on my part. I bought my first ViewSonic monitor in 1992. (20" CRT that weighed about 40 lbs and cost me almost $1,600), but what a great image I got. Way to go, ViewSonic!

The VESA mount pattern was incorrectly stated on Amazon as 400mm when it is actually 200mm, causing me to search for an buy an adapter plate I didn't need, but that's not the fault of the manufacture. The VESA mount is very high up on the back so you will need a special super tall monitor arm if you don't use the included foot stand. It doesn't reliably turn on when the computer wakes up from sleep like any other monitor does. I have to power cycle it every time which is annoying. It has almost completely unusable OSD controls due to an extremely poor design. Far worse than other manufactur's. The display itself looks fine with good brightness and solid blacks. It would probably be even better if the settings were tuned but the OSD controls makes that practically impossible to do. Overall it still quite good for its cost. I think most buyers would better served by going one size down from 32" where there are a lot more products to choose from and a greater range of performance levels and screen technologies available.

I have two of these side by side on my desk powered by my 16" MacBook Pro using USB-C inputs and really they are hard to beat for the price. Good color quality, plenty bright and plenty of settings and sizes to use. Pros: Great quality for price, good color quality, great out of the box resolution options. Cons: Settings are a pain to edit (the ones they offer through buttons, not those from your OS). Large bezels mean sharing images across desktop doesn't really work that great. Note: I can't speak for gaming, because I don't do that with these, using them for UX / UI design and front-end development testing.

I had another 28" 4k monitor I purchased a few years ago that I replaced with this one. The extra 4" help make text more readable at native 100% scale. I never like the way Windows scales fonts. As well, the colour vibrancy is fabulous, especially when I compare it to the old monitor. It's only been a few weeks with it, but I'm quite happy so far. It's excellent for image display, general office work, and video playback. Although it's colour, sharpness and freesync make it decent for gaming, I'd not say it's for the gaming enthusiast due to the max 60Hz frequency. But the real quality 4k gaming monitors are twice as much and need a similarly priced video card to drive the thing. In general, I found this great value for the money.

I am registered blind so needed a nice large monitor for my computer. This View Sonic 32" was my choice, I did have a 24" monitor Samsung. The 32" View Sonic is of great quality, flicker free HDMI. Netflix films on this monitor are excellent good clear picture. My eyesight being very poor this is a great size, text also surfing the net makes it a lot easier. Well worth that bit extra few pound, so great price, great picture, great quality.

El monitor es muy bueno, reproduce muy bien los colores. El 4k lo reproduce perfectamente. Tiene HDR 10 que es un plus a la hora de esocger monitor. Muy contento con la compra. Recomendadisimo.

This is a beautiful monitor at a wonderful price. It's colors and picture are vibrant and clear and the overall size is great for chronic multi taskers. Qnd the on board speakers do well as well! For games, it has left me very happy! But keep in mind it isn't a "gaming" monitor. The response time and refresh rate are 3ms and 60htz respectively I believe HOWEVER let's be honest, unless you're a highly competitive fps gamer most games don't require that rapid of updates. RPG games do just fine on this beauty, enough so I got myself a second to extend my setup! I will say however for those like me who wanted this monitor as a portrait aligned secondary this monitor has poor weight distribution meaning unless your monitor arm has an ability to lock position on the rotation you will have some difficulty mounting properly. (However I can speak from experience that this is doable!) Overall, I highly recommend this monitor to anyone from office workers to most gamers.
