i ordered this compressor for a gift for my partner, he loves it, its amazing value for money, really easy to use, it does such a great job at spray painting models. gives a lovely finish on the paint job. its really easy to clean and dry. its easy to store as well. Its a must have product for car model painting. You can change the PSI on it, it changes colour with the level of PSI you chose, the parts that come with the compressor are great to and all the little brushes to clean the air brush with.

I still consider myself a beginner miniature painter. I've started with second hand compressor and airbrush, but didn't use much because it was quite loud. Then got a battery powered compressor that attaches to airbrush directly, without hose. It's much quieter, but bulkier and not good for long sessions. I've bought this kit because of the pump mostly. Noise wise, it the same with the battery powered one. However, it's mor comfortable since airbrush is not as heavy and I don't feel the heat of the pump. In terms of heat, it gets warm but not hot. There are 3 settings, but two of them feels the same. The airbrush is plus, has a large cup option, which I use for primer. I'd keep using my airbrush for painting and use this one for primer only. Overall, very good kit for the price.

This kit is a good beginner kit especially if it's the first time especially for cakes. We have not used it on anything else except food products. It had 3PSI you could change it too which is very helpful. Unfortunately the difference the 3 PSI could hardly be made out. It is very noisy and you have to press the suction feet down to avoid it from vibrating Would recommend it for anyone looking to start it will be okay for them not professionals. It comes with a good cleaning kit. We had a bit of a hard time with ours due to it stopping midway but my husband would get it to restart. That's not a reliable way to work when a time schedule has to be met added to it the waste of paints. It gave us a lot of trouble so will be looking for something more reliable. Have it to our grandson to use as he is good at art and its a start in air brushing for him.

for a first time user of a airbrush I found it very easy to use I did use water for a couple of times to practice the use of the pull and push on the airbrush .its easy enough to clean when you do use paints in the airbrush just make sure you clean after each use .the motor is quiet enough when using although it does vibrate a little bit I placed a cloth under it and it stopped it moving around to much the air valve is very long so there is plenty of movement from the motor to airbrush . there is plenty of spare extras in the box ie 2 more needles and a few bits to help clean the airbrush also 2 more paint cans in different sizes

I have used this airbrush successfully for a few hours over 3 sessions. While it worked and was fairly easy to pick up and use, it was about what you could hope for for a cheap entry level kit with both a compressor and the air gun - in that it was just about suitable for slowly priming miniatures, and not much else. After the first few sessions (cleaned each time), the brush stopped spraying paint except tiny amounts even at full pressure. Air still came out, but no paint. I tried another few full disassembly cleans, even using the bicarbonate of soda and vinegar trick for removing any limescale that might be in areas that don't disconnect, to no avail. It appears that in one of the parts that you cannot remove an air leak had either developed or expanded to the point that rendered the spray gun unuseable. The compressor provided is also NOT 40PSI - on the sticker on the compressor itself it states 25-30PSI, and honestly I question even that. While it is possible I just happen to have a faulty product, I am dissatisfied by both the dishonesty of the product description and the quality of the product I recieved - there is evidently a reason that regular airbrushes are more expensive than this. I do not recommend this product unless you are prepared to take a gamble on hours of frustration trying to figure out why it won't work after a few hours of use.

After 3 weeks some of the o ring seals started to deteriorate after using thinned acrylic paints. No spares in the box nor can find any replacement parts, but it still works even without some of the o-rings and does job well. Trigger control could have more progressive feel to it but you can get used to it over time. Compressor itself comes on nice anti vibration feet. If you occasional scale modeller like me then for the price this kit is good enough to do the job.

This is perfects for small jobs like painting models, Powerful enough to spray thin to medium thick mixtures. Controlling the gun is easy with just one button, press down to allows air to pass then swipe back to allow spray mixture out from the nozzle. Like any air brush they need regular maintain after every use. The kit comes with the cleaning rod of different size. keeping the nozzle needle clean is the keys for the air brush to work. While the pump is working it does have the typical motor noise and this is dampened by the rubberized feet under the main unit. The air hose is around 2m in length which is plenty for moving the air brush around the objects, there is no spray holder so you will have to make your own.

I build model railways and plastic models. I have a good compressor and airbrush which I use for painting locos, wagons and 1/35 tanks. I don't have room to leave my spray equipment permanently set-up so when I want to spray something where a perfect finish is not so important, like painting ballast or scenery or, perhaps, weathering, I intend using this. On the basis of a test run doing this (a tarmac yard) it works well. Recommended for such tasks and for someone with a limited budget who wants to explore the possibilities of airbrushing. Incidentally, I was using Tamiya paints.
