I bought this as an upgrade for my QuadLock mount. The quadlock worked fine, but it really was kind of a pain to fasten -- it was ALWAYS a minor struggle to get the wings to line up with the gaps in the mount. No complaints about its security, but it was just one more hassle to go through while getting ready to ride. Sure enough, the Peak Design mechanism is MUCH faster and easier to use. One-handed mounting every time, done in a fraction of a second. I used the quadlock for the whole riding season in 2023, and this Peak Design for the whole 2024 season... neither ever failed. The downside is that the Peak Design case for my Galaxy S21 Ultra has "sharp" edges between the sides and the back of the phone. It's very irritating on my hands if I'm using my phone for longer periods. The material is very resilient, which is great for protection but terrible when you're trying to chamfer the corners! But that's a different product... This mount is as close to perfect as I've ever seen.

Perfect solution for securing my phone while kayaking (also biking). Between the magnet and mechanical latch this will not come out until you want to remove it. Am able to easily get to my phone and snap a photo or pull up a chart. It does require the matching Peak Design phone case, but that is also an excellent product. May cost more but after nearly losing my phone in the water, it’s worth it. After couple years both are still in peak condition (sorry for the pun), I expect to keep using for a long time.

I use this to mount an iPhone onto my Harley. It has a built in vibration dampener to protect the phone. Attaching and removing the phone is near effortless, it just clicks into place and is held both magnetically and mechanically. I’m I’m using the Nomad / Peak Design rugged case. This replaced a Rokform mount and case as their cases don’t like my mag safe charger. So far I’m happy with it.

After using X ram and Quadlock I switched to Peak Design 18 months ago, I really like it because to attach it or detach it I can do it with one hand, and I don't even need to look at it, since is magnetic it self aligns and clicks every single time, has vibration dampener and doesn't rattle like others now I have a new phone and will use the case of my choice and will reuse the mount adapter with 3M double sided tape. I own six bikes they all have ball installed and I switch the same mount from bike to bike and works perfect for me, I wonder why they are not more popular since they are great . Peak Design for the win!!

Peak Design mobile mounts are amazing. This is a repeat buy for me.

Stopped working within 3 months and only a few thousand miles

I think this has to be one of the best mobile mounting systems for motorcycles out there. It’s simple, strong, and works as it should every time(mounting the phone takes seconds and taking it off is even easier I love it ) . A bit expensive in my opinion specially if you don’t have the cover for the phone so it’s gonna cost a bit, but coming from a certain competitor that simply drove me nuts trying to get the phone to snap into place. this works beautifully, I only regret not getting this earlier

Easy fit, easy, secure mount fo Peak phone case. Only slight downside is rubber mount - seems to wobble a bit but protects phone from vibration issues.

Quad Lockからの乗り換えです。 Quad Lockの製品は、バイクでのオフロード走行にも耐えるような強靭で頑丈な作りが特徴で、これはこれで大変良い製品なのですが、ケースに厚みがあるため一般的なアクセサリーとの相性が悪い場合があるなど、普段使いにおいて利便性が損なわれるのが難点でした。 一方Peak DesignのSlimLinkシステムは、コネクタ部分が非常に薄くエブリデイケースも薄く軽量な素材でできています。頑丈さではQuad Lockに一歩譲るかもしれませんが日常的な使い勝手の良さと機能のバランスが非常によく取れたシステムだと感じています。 あと見た目が全体にスタイリッシュなのも好ポイントです。ショックアブソーバが内装式なのですっきりしているのが大変気分が良いです。

素晴らしいですね 前はラムマウントを使用していましたが ピークデザインに変えてみて周りに挟み込むものが無いのでボタンを押すのもストレスフリーです 取り外しも片手ですっと外せます デザインも秀逸ですね 振動抑制はどうなんだろ 確かにふにゃふにゃしてるけどこれで壊れないって補償もないですしね
