Great for baking and a good price

Vanilla bean paste is officially my new favorite way to impart that beautiful vanilla flavor into my sweets. I've used it in sugar cookies, macarons, mousses, cheesecakes, cakes, glazes, icings, and buttercreams. All have received rave reviews. If there's one complaint, it's that this paste colors batters and frostings. I don't mind this, but many bakers aren't fond of this and use clear extracts. But I feel like nothing is better than true vanilla bean, but it's so expensive. Vanilla bean paste is a great substitute and you still get the flecks of vanilla bean in your baked good. I personally love the aesthetic of the flecks and can't get enough. I highly recommend and will buy again! Shipping was fast and the paste arrived safely.

AscAn okay Vanilla , I will now use only for coffee the flavor is light And it has sugar as it’s second ingredient I bake with sugar substitutes So the true Vanilla flavor hides the flavor so I find the Vanilla nill Vanilla strength Diabetics need to watch many types of sugar Very light scent and in opening the bottle strong liquor scent goes away

I found a recipe called Vanilla Bean cake which called for 3 spoons of vanilla bean paste OR 3 vanilla beans. I found this "paste," but I guess I expected it to actually be a "paste" like the caviar I had previously harvested from vanilla beans. Instead, it's a liquid made up of invert sugar, water, vanilla extract, vanilla seeds, xanthan gum, & acacia gum. Tastes OK in my coffee, but will it be delish in my vanilla bean cake?? Time will tell. I was hoping to get a paste made up of pure vanilla bean caviar. I'm somewhat disappointed. Is this what all vanilla bean pastes are like????

So I had been influenced by a few tiktok bakers and they were saying it was best to get vanilla bean paste for baking, little disappointed in this product though. Second ingredient is sugar and I cook for someone who is diabetic so this doesn't help me, The flavor is mild not like I thought it would be, is great for coffee, but not for my baking. Would not recommend it

I bought this because Nielsen-Massey Pure Vanilla Bean Paste had gone up in price and this was on the top of the page as a recommendation from Amazon. But it is GROSS. It smells like alcohol and chemicals instead of vanilla and burns when tasted. It isn't nice and thick like the N-M vanilla bean paste. I am so disappointed and won't be taking Amazon's recommendations in the future.
