Great quality. It took a little to straighten because of the tight for shipping.

Installed quickly. Plays beautifully.
Perfect fit. We had it installed in the baby grand piano in about 30 minutes. Took another 5 - 10 to tune the two notes. And it's as good as new. It's plays beautifully. We'll have to re-tune it periodically over the first little bit because it's stretching and finding its final "place", but it's working really well. Great quality piano wire.

My husband didn't want to pay someone to tune our piano so he broke one of the strings. Still not phased he purchased this and installed did it himself. Overall it was easy to install, I hear no difference in the sound and it has held up nicely.

Close but no Cigar
Basically what I needed EXCEPT it was not straight when uncoiled. Had to be straight as an arrow.

Just what I needed
Replacing a broken piano string is a highly specialized skill. One should not attempt to do this without proper training. However if you do have the training and know the size of the wire you need, this is the perfect solution. You don't need to buy all the extra length you don't need and 10' length is more than enough.
