Simple install. They look great and seem durable. Lined up with the holes on my Gretsch Jim Dandy. Review: Immediate improvement over standard tuners! - I was recently handed down a 1998 Squier Affinity Strat from my Grandfather in-law. The guitar was purchased at a yard sale and had seen better days. The standard tuners were really bad, even after opening them up, cleaning them, and lubricating them. Also, I just don’t like re-stringing guitars that don’t have vintage tuners (it’s way more difficult and less stable). These tuners weren’t a perfect fit (the tuning peg closest to the nut has a tiny bit of overhang), but they are sooooo much better than the stock tuners. I re-strung my guitar in less than five minutes. These things are smooooth, and my guitar seems to be staying in tune a lot better.
