I use the 10” on a/c lines mostly but also have a ford wrench for that that I prefer. The following YouTube video (Knipex Pliers Wrench) gives information on this. Officially the 12" model opens to a maximum of 2-3/8". However I've measured the opening on mine and it appears to be about 2-1/2 inches. The 7" model opens to 1-3/8".
