Great EMART Value - Again
No problems at all with this pair of stands. They're solid, easily adjustable, they lock height strongly, and hold more than their weight - more than you'd expect - and safely.

Better than expected.
I bought a couple of LED panels for location video shoots and the stands were too short. I purchased these fully expecting to return them. But, to my pleasant surprise, the quality and sturdiness of these stands impressed me. And the carry bag is equally good.

Solved my nighttime cornhole lighting need
These stands are a great deal and helped me find stands stout enough to hold my 5lb Ridgid LED lights. Stands are thicker than regular tripod stands for photography. Yes, it can be a little wobbly when extended to it highest point with these heavy lights, but if it’s windy I’ll adjust to a lower height for better stability. For throwing cornhole bags at night, these stands will get the light plenty high enough to illuminate the cornhole boards so we can play well after dark without excuses that I cant see the board. I looked for hours for the right tripods to hold a heavy light and at this price I would highly recommend. I’m sure there are heavier duty tripods, but you’ll pay triple the price for two. If you are going to use these every day in a construction site, you probably want to pay for the extra heavy duty tripods. But for my needs, I couldn’t be more happy.

Upgrade from Cheap Stands, but not Heavy Duty
I had a couple heavy duty $120 stands stolen and decided to try these out as temps until I get some higher paying gigs. My main use is remote video work with large LED panels + soft-boxes. These seem surprisingly solid for the price. It's hard to beat 60 bucks. There are some flimsy aspects to them that make me worry about durability. The bag has individual pockets for each tripod, but seems like it would fall apart fast. Doesn't matter to me, since I intend on using other bags anyway. Below are my testing notes.. Pros - Metal tube tighteners. I was pleasantly surprised at these, they look like they can stand up to a lot of tightening. - Large Footprint. - Big tubes. Seems like they can hold a good amount of weight. -Spring cushioning. Air cushioning is a better approach with no bounce back and no chance of the spring becoming unseated. But the spring works and is waaaay better than nothing. Cons - Flimsy connections to the bottom legs. The rivets that join the bottom legs are cheap and loose. I'm guessing they are the most-likely fail point. There's also a lot of play them when holding weight. - Noisy. Due to the poor rivets there's a lot of play in the legs and they clank when you have them folded up. Not good for professional settings. - Plastic wing-bolt tighteners. This is surprising since the tube tighteners are metal. You'd think they would do that on these as well. Might be able to pick up some better metal ones at the Home Depot. Overall For the price, I'm surprised at how solid they are. I'm concerned about the flimsiness of the rivet connections and plastic wing bolts but not enough to return them. Though, if I had newer more expensive LED panels I definitely would. It's a dice-roll. If they work, I'll save $180. I'm going to try them out for a couple shoots and come back with any findings. **Update** After a year they are still working great. I upgraded the star rating from 3 to 4 cause I'm a little surprised by this. I have actually been using the bag, and it is indeed falling apart but that was to be expected. Overall, I'm surprised by the quality.

Stable and easily adjusted, exactly what I wanted.
These stands were exactly what I wanted. I needed them for a school lighting class assignment and for future lighting needs. They seem strong and durable enough for any lights that I will be using for my future projects. They are easy to use and have the stability to handle a variety of lights and are light weight enough to travel anywhere I will haul them.

Won't last the long haul.
I'll be keeping these because I need stands immediately and don't have enough time to get others. But, I wish I had just gone with Manfrotto. 1. Pictures for these 8.5' stands show nuts and bolts construction... they're not. Rivets are used throughout the leg construction. 2. These rattle considerably when moved because of the springs and the loose construction. There's a lot of play in the riveted areas. Seems like the holes are quite larger than the rivets themselves. 3. The material used in the construction is unsubstantial. The poles are thin walled although they are larger diameter tubes. The stabilizer bars are thin, flex easily, and will be prone to bending if you load a sand bag on it. It's very lightweight for a reason. 4. The coating (anodized, I believe) is not very robust. I received it with multiple scratches throughout. 5. There's an odd smell coming from the stands. May be from the lubrication used. If you are a pro, you can afford better... but these would work as backups to your backups. If you are just starting out and can't afford better, these are decent starters. I am very doubtful that these are meant to consistently support up to 60 lbs. These are decent starters, but in no way reliable for weekly use. - update 07/10/23 - 2 out of 3 plastic knobs on each stand has stripped from the bolt. The bolt itself hasn’t stripped on the clamp hardware… the plastic handle now just spins on the screw. No clue where to find replacements.

These are pretty good stands
I wouldn't use theses for traveling and shooting 5 days a week but for weddings, special events, home studios etc. these stands are great. They are stronger, bigger and a little tougher than most stands you get at this price. They are also spring loaded which is really nice. I have four of these. They have replaced all of my other light stands.

Very nice tripods....With a bag!
I always hear that it is good to have a couple of extra of tripods around. The tripods that I had already were kind of flimsy, so I figured that I would try to get a couple of tripods that were a little bit beefier. Well, these are definitely that. I haven't really had the chance to use them yet, but, just taking them out of the bag, you can just feel the difference. Very nice tripods for the money, I think that they are going to work great. I will probably be using these before I use the other tripods that I owned before. And having a nice bag to keep them in is a plus too!

A Good Compromise Between Heavy Duty and Economy
These are good quality stands quite capable of supporting any modest to medium grade remote lighting ensemble, like my Godox MS300 flashes with 42" umbrellas. Good height, little plastic in the overall setup, nice wide, stable footprint when legs fully extended, and a well-machined screw to mount lights on. The spring cushioning is a nice bonus. The storage/carry bag is better than many, with individual inner pockets for each stand to minimize contact in storage and/or transit. A good compromise for a modest or home studio application. Spend a little more than the absolute cheapest units for these, and a lot less than the big brands, and you have a pretty sweet setup. Workmanship seems good. For my use, which is having them set up permanently in my basement studio, these will last as long as I do. If used on location, with care and gentle use, probably the same. I looked at a lot of stands before ordering these, and can recommend them without hesitation.

Excelente producto
