Looks like this was made in someone’s garage.

App required to use this product is no longer compatible with current Android versions. Seller does not respond to support requests. Item is unusable without the app. Do not waste your money they have abandoned this item.

It adds more motivation and stats to the workouts. The sensor is not as sensitive as I would like it to be, as it misses many of the hits, though one can get a general idea. I almost returned this product due to the sensitivity issue. (Now that I’ve had this for awhile, I’m glad I decided to keep it as it does make workouts more motivating, and the app keeps track of the starting and ending times of each round).
