The product is designed for AUTO AC refrigerant recharging. This reliable and durable component is a must-have in your automobile DIY toolbox.User Instructions:Prior to placing R134a can tap onto R134a can, screw handle counter clockwise until the piercing stem is above the seal. Thread the R134a can tap onto the R134a can. Attach a R134a changing hose. Always add refrigerant to low side of A/C system. Turn the handle on the R134a can tap clockwise until the piercing stem pierces the R134a can. To start refrigerant flow, turn handle on R134a can tap counter clockwise until the valve opens. Turn R134a can tap handle clockwise until it stops to close R134a can tap before removing R134a hose.

Review: works as advertised - was a little worried seeing all these reviews of the valve not working. it's pretty simple, screw it down to close valve and pierce can, unscrew it out to release the r134a. simple as that, works as advertised. I used this with my ac manifold gauge kit on the yellow line, when i had to open the red or blue side valves for whatever reason, never seen or heard any leakage from the yellow side, it held up well. With can on, works as advertised to feed blue line r134a.

Didn't advertise this, but the valve I recieved was a name brand (A/C Pro) whose products I have used before with great satisfaction. Well built with solid construction, threads fit and seated properly for a good tight seal. Point on valve easily pierced the seal on the can. Shipping was VERY fast (received it a day and a half after ordering- a day earlier than expected!). Satisfied with this product and this retailer.

**Q: I need a bullet piercing valve, a piercing valve for a 12oz canister of r134 and a rubber hose to connect both what parts do I need?**
A: This part is only the piercing valve for the 12 oz can of 134a. You'll need to get the other two parts separately.

**Q: will this work with new cans with self sealing top???**
A: It didn’t work for me with the self sealing top cans.  Works great on standard cans.

**Q: Is this valve goes directly to the can? Witch is 1/2inch? and the other part goes to the hose witch is 1/4? thats corect?**
A: You are very right

**Q: I have a 1998 nissan pathfinder R134a freon it's correct to recharge my sistem ?**
A: It will work if all your system needs is a small charge of freon.  Most likely a system that old has a larger leak or bad compressor seals.  You need to put a gauge set on it to determine that. If the pressure is jut a little low then a recharge will fix it.

The valve is well made, seals well to the can and is easy to use. The only issue I had was as I used it the valve became harder to use because the rubber packing ring on the valve stem was dragging on the stem. I removed the valve stem and wiped it with a drop of two of compressor oil and it now turns very easy. Good product at a good price.
