are these cut to fit the ignition? Ford F150 2014 Lariat? do I have to have it cut?

You have to have the key cut, with an old key and then programmed by locksmith with the programmer, takes about 20mins, need to have at least one key that is already working with the PASS system (security system).

Will this work for a F250 Platinum Edition?

Yes I had two of these programmed and cut to work with my 2014 F250 Platinum, all functions work.

Do you have to have both keys to program the new ones? I lost one of mine years

No. I just come in a set of two. We took these that we ordered from Amazon to the Ford dealer to cut the key and to set the fob for our truck. They could not get the fob to work because they said it was not compatible with our Ford truck
