The first (rubberized cloth) houses my Garmin GPS 72, the second (black rubber) protects my Garmin 76Cx, and this one will hold my new Garmin GPS 76CSx. If I could, I would give this product 6 stars.These cases are unbelievable. Geocaching in Canada this summer I took a tumble on the rocks--the case protected my GPS as I watched it "bounce" 3 times on the boulders. Not a scratch on my GPS and it still worked like a charm. These cases allow you to grip your GPS so that it is next to impossible to let it go. They are easy to clean in the rare case that they do get dirty (they are definitely NOT dirt magnets like the others).I've had the Garmin case and numerous neoprene cases--they are good BUT, the Garmin case has to be opened and the GPS removed to use it. The neoprene cases gather dirt fast, and the clear plastic face covers "yellow up" rather quickly. The GPS is difficult to put in the neoprene cases, and difficult to remove, and they just do not provide the protection.I love the long lanyard--no more wrist straps--for those of you who prefer the wrist strap, the lanyard can be shortened up and used as such.The cases are made to "last a lifetime" and I am sure they will outlast the life of the GPS receiver I put in them. In fact my last GPS purchase was based on the fact that I could get this Foarm case to put it in.I spoke with Richard at Foarm last week and he informs me that they are in the process of making a case for the Garmin eTrex--hip hip hurrah to you for that move. Hope you make one for the Garmin GPS 60 series soon as well (my wife has this unit).If you can afford a GPSr, you can't afford NOT to have the GREAT protection these Foarm cases offer in protecting your investment.The plastic lens covers provided just don't work for me, so I do not use them--the thickness of the case will protect the glass screen from damage in most cases--it has in all cases so far for me!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great case, wish they made this for other garmin's *by S***G on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 27, 2011* I originally bought one of these from Foarm over a year ago. Not sure what happened to them, looks like they got bought out or something, but Gizzmovest is now making the same high quality case. I bought 4 of these for the gps's at work. They fit over top of the gps very tightly, there is no movement of the gps in the case. It raises the surface of the gps so that the buttons and screen won't rub if you put it in your cruising vest chest pocket. It comes with 2 screen protectors too and they are of very high quality also.One of my employees decided not to use the case and ended up losing the battery cover, if he had used the case he now wouldn't be responsible for paying for a replacement battery cover (FYI if you damage your gps, it costs just as much to send it in for a repair if it's out of warranty then to buy a new one, at least in Canada, hopefully the service center in Canada will have the individual part for sale). Anyways, the case will definitely prolong the life of the gpsmap 76's if it is used and it doesn't affect the signal of the gps at all in my experience (I use a gpsmap 76 csx). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great case *by A***G on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 27, 2006* Case quality and design is excellent but the glossy screen protectors have blotchy white spots, I had some boxwave anti glare protectors for my pda phone that worked perfect.This company is a touchy lot; I posted a positive review about their company in the feedback section but stated my reservations about the screen protector. Multiple emails and a phone call later I agreed to removed said feedback since in fairness I didn't bother installing the splotchy screen protector which they insist looses its spots when installed. It may very well be entirely transparent when installed but since I round filed the supplied screen protectors on sight of the glare and splotches I can not confirm this.Beyond this the case stands on its own merits and IMO an anti-glare screen protector is almost a requirement in this unit's intended environments.All considered still by far the best case for my GPSMAP 76CSX that I have seen.
