Review: Best Value For Performance! - Best product for value wifi bulb. Also works smoothly with HomeKit! Great brightness and color options. Purchased 2 of these back in September just to try out a smart bulb. I liked the idea of not having to connect to an extra hub device. So wifi and HomeKit compatible were a must. Connecting to HomeKit was smooth and just worked. Siri commands are logical and work accurate to what you ask for. Brightness is a lot better than similar priced bulbs and the colors are amazing. I typically like desaturated warm tones for the evening and the bulbs can do exactly that. Every now and then I may have a connection problem and will have to physically turn the switch on and off. But it is very minor and far in between. I liked them so much that i bought 2 more. Waiting for more advanced HomeKit smart bulbs to come out, but for now, these do the trick!

I am also a big fan of Philips Hue and mostly have their bulbs in my home, but these are an amazing alternative and are actually superior it terms of brightness and at a lower price. I only buy smart home equipment that is compatible with both Apple Home/HomeKit and Alexa. I also find that most Alexa enabled devices also play well with Google which is nice. I have some kind of Echo in almost every room, which makes it easy to control my smart home devices via voice commands. On the other hand, devices have to go through stringent security hoops to be certified by Apple (which makes me feel a bit more at ease) and I feel like the Apple platform is superior for creating automations/routines. There are also a multitude of iOS apps to help you get the most out of your smart home, including ones that actually backup your smart home setup. I’ve labored over my smart home setup for hours upon hours so it’s nice to know I have backups...for the Apple side of things. To my knowledge, desertcart does not yet offer a backup option for your smart home settings. This was recently very very very painful when I inadvertently deleted all of my smart home devices and settings on the desertcart side of things and had to start over from scratch. desertcart, please fix this or let me know if I’m missing something. Anyway, on the other hand, Apple’s HomePods are quite expensive compared to desertcart’s variety of Echo devices and I don’t always care to retrieve my phone from my pocket or from another room to control my smart home gear. Going with equipment that can be used on both platforms literally gives me the best of both worlds, offers the most flexibility, and security, and these bulbs are part of that equation at a very reasonable price.

**Q: Can the color be changed by voice command with Alexa?**
A: With Siri it does, I don’t have google Alexa, I am assuming it does as well.

**Q: How can I setup the bulbs again if I lost the QR code?**
A: The QR code should be on the base of the bulb.

**Q: Will these work with 220 volts?**
A: No

**Q: My bulbs keep saying no response, or only one will work when I try to turn them on from the app and/or HomeKit?**
A: I've had this problem off and on for years. So far the only thing that seems to help is to separate my smart home devices on to a separate wifi network. My cable modem wifi network is for my devices and a separate router for my computers / TVs / Phones. Make sure you're linked to the cloud service in the Linkwise app and lastly cycle the light switch once and wait 30 seconds.

Best product for value wifi bulb. Also works smoothly with HomeKit! Great brightness and color options. Purchased 2 of these back in September just to try out a smart bulb. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked pretty well with Apple Homekit

I bought this as a cheap bulb that work with Apple HomeKit. It was easy to set up and connectivity has been quick and responsive. My one issue is that one of the two I purchased sometimes turns on randomly in the middle of the night. I would be sleeping and be woken up by my lamp being turned on. This happened a couple of nights in a row so I just removed it from Apple Home and reset it. Since then, I haven’t had any issues with it.
