This blender handled dry dates effortlessly as shown in the attached video, the output was smooth and impressive! It works excellently for both dry and wet blends. However, the removable rubber lining at the base of the blades seems a bit weak and may wear out quickly. I recommend that the manufacturer should include a spare and better consider making it a fixed part to avoid the hassle during cleaning. Overall, very satisfied with the performance!

I have had one of these for six months and use it on a daily basis. I have tried: (1) Smoothies. Fresh, frozen and dried fruit with soy milk mainly. Very good results, even with fairly firm dried dates, prunes and figs. (2) Soups, veg. such as parsnips, carrots, potato, swede, tomatoes, onions. Very good results, blending gives extremely smooth soup, as good as a nutribullet. Works just as well for raw (e.g. for gazpatcho) as cooked veg. (3) Nut butters. I have tried roasted peanuts, walnuts, cashew, brazil, almonds. In general works very well, although you do have to keep pushing the mixture down. In addition, if you want these smooth, then you have to blend a bit more than just running the nut butter program. Overall this is an excellent appliance, and I recommend.

Such a waste of time and money! I picked this one because all of the parts are available from Philips if any need replacing in years to come. If you want to blend anything other than soft food/liquid it is completely useless. After a few seconds of use, you can still hear the motor running but nothing is happening inside the jug. I initially sent the first one back for a replacement product. The replacement had the exact same problem. I returned it for a refund. Have never had a blender as bad as this. I don't recommend this product!

This blender seems falrly powerful and with a range of options. It also comes with two additional cups which are handy for smoothies and shakes. I marked it down a star as sometimes I have to press the contents down to get it to blend, otherwise the blade just spins at the bottom with nothing happening. Once the contents become more liquid then it blends it fine. I don't know if that's an issue with this blender, or blenders in general though.

This works so well The speed, the fine blending Overall, it's amazing.

Cost, but very strong product.
