Review: Love my Rev-A-Shelf! - When we remodeled our kitchen recently we ended up with 6" of extra space beside a cabinet. Rather than just put a board across it to cover the space, we utilized the space with this pull-out shelf. It's awesome! It's a spice shelf, so that's what I use it for. I put my most-used spices on the bottom shelf. The shelves are adjustable. Very handy. Durable, very nice quality, and it looks nice. My husband installed it and did have to add a spacer at the bottom to lift it a bit to get it to fit in our space, but no big deal. No problems with installation. All hardware is included. Keep in mind that you will still need to add a front to this shelf that matches your other cabinets. My husband made ours--he's very handy. The second photo shows how it looks closed.

When we remodeled our kitchen recently we ended up with 6" of extra space beside a cabinet. Rather than just put a board across it to cover the space, we utilized the space with this pull-out shelf. It's awesome! It's a spice shelf, so that's what I use it for. I put my most-used spices on the bottom shelf. The shelves are adjustable. Very handy. Durable, very nice quality, and it looks nice. My husband installed it and did have to add a spacer at the bottom to lift it a bit to get it to fit in our space, but no big deal. No problems with installation. All hardware is included. Product is very sturdy and fully assembled in the box. Like other Rev-a-Shelf products, the instructions are not the best and leave a lot to your imagination. Installation was easy once you get the overall concept and adjust to your specific cabinet configuration. Recommend that you count on having to use screws different than the ones provided for installation as they strip easy and do not necessarily agree with either the installation instructions or the best mounting options for the shelf unit. I installed this in a standard height 12" width wall cabinet and found that the best thing to do to keep the shelf properly secured was to hold it to the bottom of the cabinet using long wood screws to engage the pre-drilled holes in the shelf base block, otherwise the unit would tend to tilt forward when fully extending it - this is no where mentioned in the instructions -. Wood is thick and of a smooth surface finish. Rails are also very sturdy, installation is easier to accomplish if you disengage the extending shelf from the base by releasing all rails (2 on the side, 1 on the base) which is also not mentioned in the instructions. Overall is easier to install than other rev-a-shelf systems
