Yes, this works, but the pot reaches full ohms after about a quarter turn. That should be in the description as generally one expects about 3/4 turn with one of these. I need a bit more control than that for my application so I will be getting something different and putting these in the miscellaneous electronics box for some future need that requires less precision. EDIT: It was not the pot - it was my VFD. I measured the ohms directly and it went from 0 to 10 ohms as it should. Sorry for jumping the gun on the review....

Good for the price and pretty accurate on ohms
Was using it to replace a pot on an old welder. Size was off by a bit and also the pot I ordered was the wrong resistance. Other than that it worked fine.

Nice Potentiometer
I guess I got what I paid for. Yes, this works, but the pot reaches full ohms after about a quarter turn. That should be in the description as generally one expects about 3/4 turn with one of these. Poor Quality Incorrect Description
I ordered a 10k potentiometer and got a 100k potentiomenter. I paid for two potentiometers and got one. The one I did get had no nut and the knob was broken. NOT recommended at all.

Arrived ok however soon broke a connection tab
Arrived OK however one of the connection tabs (positive lead) soon broke off. It will work ok for a very light application, however if you need something durable you may want to look elsewhere. MarkMannM2

Works as expected
I looked around a lot and this seemed to be the best bang for my buck. I used it for a variable voltage lm317 circuit on an ATX to benchtop power supply conversion.
