How short do these go in inches? I'm about 4'11 and need a crutch height of 28-29 inches.

Maybe, the crutches start at 4' 11" per the description on the page. I am 5'1" and still have several notches left to lower the crutches to adjust to smaller heights.

What can I put on the bottom of these to keep them from slipping on icy surfaces?

Hello Donna, I just went on line on Amazon and typed in "crutch tips for icy surfaces" and a plethora of products came up some with what appears to be sharp metal tips made for ice?. You just need to measure the diameter to make sure you get the right diameter size crutch tips, 3/4 or 7/8" etc. The Pepe Amazon product explanation says crutch tip diameter is 11/16" but some customers say it's 3/4"? so that might be the correct size?? Good luck

How wide is forearm cuff?

approximately 3 7/8 inches wide but believe it can be bent out or widen slightly if needed. IMO, should be very comfortable/helpful for most people
