Didn't catch any flies, but can't really blame the product.The cats won't leave the thing alone. Still worthless for me.

Motor quut the same day it was even plugged in
I wouldn't recommend this item. Cheaply made and the one that does still work out of the 2 I had got, it hasn't caught a single fly.

So good I bought several more!
I like this design so much I bought several more! Add a drop of honey and peanut butter near the center of the segments. It attracts the flies and lures them in. Uses very little power, works off a small power bank for days, or plug into USB. It is very quiet. Devices with fly zappers upset our barn animals. Only downside is that it fills up so quickly, that it can clog.

Doesn’t work on usb battery
The usb battery will only power it for a while the. The unit shuts off…. Not good for picnics.

Just fyi
They work great but the quality of this product is poorly built. Use bbq sauce and you will catch all you have. They only last 2-3 months but worth it.
