The build!
Best P38 kit I have seen yet. Good instructions & paint colors to apply. This kit is for the experienced & serious builder. Excellent in its detail. It compares closely to the photos my father left me. My father flew this plane in WWII in the South Pacific with the 347th fighter group, 339th fighter squadron, 13th US Army Air Corps.

Well engineered model
I am in my mid 70s and have built quite a few models in my life. TAMIYA is the best model brand I’ve ever assembled. The seams are very tight and require little preparation before assembly. It was a joy to build this model. Their attention to detail make you feel like a master craftsman.

OMG
OMG. I've known tamiya is the best by far that is mere mortals can get.... HOWEVER... This is WAY better than that! Hands down best I have experienced. Perfect in every way. Engineering, production, fit, finish all outstanding. Give me more like this tamiya!

Tamiya quality 2 words that are synonymous.
Tamiya does anything else need to be said about the quality. There was a couple of small things. The box shows signs of being crushed slightly and the box was unsealed. Inspecting the part trees. Everything seems to be there and not broken.

Best Tamiya Kit Ever
This is the best kit I have ever assemled. The engineering that Tamiya has incorporated is aamazing. The parts fit together so well that no filling of any kind is required. If you carefully follow the instructions, a greeat looking model will result.

Product great. Vendor not.
I wish I could give three ratings. The product is great (typical Tamiya). The vendor is terrible: Slapped a shipping lable on the Tamiya box and sent it. The shipping company was great: realized it wasn't packed correctly and made sure it was handled gently. All the way to my door.

Sehr zufriedenstellend.
