I hate loose cords, especially in a toddler’s room & I wanted the lamp on one side of the room, but the switch outlet was on the other side. These helped to keep the cord looking neat & simple. They hold the cord tight, so it doesn’t droop down. The only flaw was the threads aren’t smooth, so they’re a little difficult to screw together.
