This is number four and it's working great. We have a 15 year old blind and deaf pom so he can't walk on his own and we needed something that we could take him on our walks with us. The last three slings we tried fell short in other areas. We live in Arizona so they were either too hot, uncomfortable, not adjustable, or chokes are poor dog.. the sling is very comfortable, lightweight, the light color is beneficial here in Arizona so it doesn't get too hot, and since it's made out of cotton he doesn't get too hot.Are pom weighs 6 pounds and enjoys going for walks with us. I would have given this five stars except for one critique. The sling is just a little bit too shallow. We kind of worry about him jumping out. The other styles of slings that we tried were somewhat deeper. The shoulder strap is wide, fitting across my shoulder instead of digging into it. I love that it is reversible, so I can choose what color to sport. And I also appreciate the two pockets for essentials like leash, travel wipe, wallet, and even an iPhone 6 Plus. My only issue with this is that the adjustable strap is so long for short people like myself, that I have to knot it a couple times just to keep it from dangling and getting in the way.
