Fit perfectly in my Generac pressure washer!
I picked up a Generac pressure washer off Marketplace for cheap that barely run and did not pump. Joy of joys for this guy who tinkers with this stuff!!!! The running issue ended up being a bad spark plug that I thought was a bad carburetor. The pump issue ended up being this. When I cracked open the pump head, I found three broken high pressure valves. Probably occurred from keeping it in bypass mode for too long as the plastic cages showed signs of melted plastic and disintegrated. These valves were an exact match and fit perfectly in the pump and worked perfectly bringing a broken pump back up to snuff! Let me tell you - the price of the valves was far cheaper than the price of a pump and were just as easy to fix. And it was just like having a new pump again! If you find your Generac pump isn’t generating the high pressure and the pump itself isn’t damaged, it is most likely this that is causing your issue. The plastic is prone to overheating and melting if the pump is left in bypass to long. A set of these will get you fixed up and back to blasting dirt and grime in a hurry!
