Highly recommend to use these tools than remove them yourself with your hands. I have never had ticks issues until this year. My poor dogs became infested. The 3 sizes provided was useful because I encounter all type of tick sizes. The comb I still haven’t used. I suppose it’s better off against fleas than my tick issue. We’ll see about that next summer.

This looks cheap and I wasn't impressed UNTIL I used it!!!!! No more touching ticks to remove them!!! My dog doesn't even know I'm pulling ticks. Never thought something so simple could work so well. The little comb comes in handy to comb out the ticks that drop into the fur after pulling. The comb also gets out those mean grass seeds that have a way of working themselves into the dog's skin and causing major problems. I have a golden retriever with a very thick, long coat. I'll never dread tick removal again...

All are too big and cheap to grab/pluck anything.

It works sometimes, but not on ticks that have burrowed deep or very small ticks.

Found this item while looking for something for the mother in law who runs a dog rescue and grooming business. They arrived on time and are packaged well. The items are a newer concept (to me) for tick removal. The mother in law took in a German Shepherd and a poodle yesterday, both covered in ticks. She gave these tools a try and states she prefers these to the previously used methods. This is easier on the dog and the tick's head comes off every time. They are built to last. Placed an order for 10 more today to give to other friends in the rescue arena.

Works great! We got this for my dog as we take him hiking and my husband gets to take him for work in the mountains a lot. Love that there are different sizes!

Keep this product in your medicine cabinet. Don’t buy it only AFTER you discover your pet has fleas and ticks. I learned my lesson. I am adamant about this because I contracted Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (RMSF) from ticks at least two times!! WARNING: If you don’t know anything about RMSF…it really sucks. This set is complete and very durable. The metal comb bristles and indestructible handle are super solid. Easy as 1-2-3. This product works great—exactly as advertised. My dog Morpheus can thank me, too.
