Hiturbo Microfiber Surf Poncho, Wetsuit Changing Bath Robe, Quick Dry Pool Swim Beach Towel with Hood

I didn’t even use a towel when I put this on. I just slipped it over my head. It dried my suit off, just by being on me and me pressing the cover up against my wet swimsuit. I have now purchased a second one.

Light and easy to carry, dries almost instantly. Large size, so good body coverage, perfect for changing after a lake swim.

I bought this because I use a robe after I shower because I don’t like towels. But I figured it would do double duty when I went on a beach/snorkeling trip. I throw it on after getting out of the water so I’m not dripping water everywhere. I also wear it to the buffet so I’m not going in with just a swimsuit. I also throw it on if the wind is blowing and I get a little chilly or when I want to nap and don’t want my body exposed. It also works well if you’ve gone on a water taxi or snorkeling excursion and you don’t want to die of hypothermia with the wind from the boat. I’m the only one in the West Bay of Roatan with one. Our driver said it was Mexican style, and I knew that, but I don’t think they see ponchos here often. There is no surfing here because of the barrier reef, but lots of diving and snorkeling. So my fear of looking like a surfer bum was unfounded. Anyway, if you lay it flat or hang it up, it will dry very quickly. There is room to change your clothes if you need to, but I am a smaller person. I can’t say how comfortable it would be to try to change if you were taller or bigger around the middle. It is very soft and easy to get sand off of with just a shake. I will say that I’ve had to ‘shower wash’ it twice for a 10 day trip because it has picked up a strange odor. Not funky, but not fresh. Maybe it’s the sea water? My poncho is light blue all around with no ombré as pictured. I don’t care as it does its job very well.

This is a quality product and the one lost star is my fault for not noticing it doesn't have any pockets like some similar Poncho do.

Absorbs water quickly and keeps you warm walking back to the car

While I can change out of my board shorts under a towel, we were traveling and my wife wanted to change into her swimsuit at a beach while on another island. She changed while I tried to hide her with a beach towel behind the rental car door, but I think some people could have still seen her. This has been great so that she doesn't have to worry about flashing people! I suppose I could use it also to keep from flashing people (sometimes the towel comes up as I take down/put on my shorts) and be more respectable, but that would mean that I care...

Packs nice and small Great for changing in very public dressing rooms. Made of microfiber toweling so acts as a large second towel. It will go on my next kayak trip to fit in my emergency dry bag. I no longer dive but it seems well suited for changing out of a wetsuit.

Advantages - compact, light, dries quickly, won't get rank in the trunk as easily as terry cloth/cotton robe. Stays cleaner. Not as hot. Disadvantages - not as good for a beach/bath towel for drying off or lying on in sun. Easier to lose balance or rip it when changing. I purchased this as a summer alternative to my soft, thick terry-cloth robe. It dries quickly and is surprisingly effective for drying off while wearing it, but it doesn't "give" or slide easily when putting it on, taking it off, or maneuvering to change clothes. I could hear the seams pulling with first use. OK for guys, but gals will have difficulty putting on a pull-over (t-shirt) before removing the robe. Seller states the length is 44". (True.) However, that's a foot shorter (and width is 4" less) than my current robe, and accidental exposures are more likely. (I'm 6'.) Again, it's unforgiving with changing maneuvers. A head-hole in the middle of a sheet works, too - without the style. Photo shows it on top of my 20 year-old "Vader" robe that is available in name only - not the same product as the original. ---- added P.S. : This is stylish and a nice generic blue color for anyone. One advantage I meant to mention is that it does not hold sand or water as a terrycloth robe would do, so your vehicle/backpack will stay cleaner and won't get that moldy smell. If it came in a larger size/length, I'd prefer it over my terrycloth robe - especially in the summer. My black terrycloth robe is hot (looks strange using in the summer), but it's great when getting out of the water on cold days. Be great to find one made out of cotton.

Ottimo per le attività al mare

Sind als Gepäckstück schon schwerer aber super. Nehmen die mit zum Tauchen. Man ist schnell trocken, die Tücher selber trocknen auch super schnell und halten ein bisschen warm. Gerade auf dem Boot ne gute Sache.

Molto efficace al mare per cambiarsi discretamente e per proteggersi da vento e schizzi sulle imbarcazioni. Asciuga rapidamente.

Damn it I wish I read the bad comments. This is crap! What a waste of money. The listing says towel but it definitely isn't and doesn't dry anything. Worth up to $5
