Great for protection. The latch doesn’t come undone easily so no worries of accidental discharge.

This is a decent set for the price. Pepper spray doesn’t last forever so it should be replaced after a while. I like how you can connect it to your key ring but there’s also the option to disconnect it easily from the key ring by depressing the button and sliding it off. It’s easy to turn the cover from open to close, but in a way I don’t like that because if there’s lots of stuff in my purse pressing against it, I’m worried it could push the switch open. So I wish they changed that part.

Every single member of my family has one of these on their key ring and we have never accidentally sprayed it. It has a sliding mechanism. That is great quality. They are very durable. A safer option to protect yourself.

I walk with this attached to my dog’s leash every day. I have needed to use it many times on runaway dogs who bombard into my dog’s personal space uninvited. It has saved her life at this point I cannot say how many times. It is discreet and comfortable to hold in my hand. The quick release keychain attachment is my favorite feature because I can release it and use it in seconds when needed. Every dog owner should walk carrying mace to protect themselves from off leash dogs.
