Another good product from Munchkin
We bought first an open training cup, the tiny 2 oz one and our baby was happy with it. He learned very quickly how to drink from the little cup and also was using it a lot in unpleasant teasing time. The cup became one of his favorite teaser - lol, thanks to the cup thickness and super soft silicone it made of. The open cup was perfect for his little hands, but after a while 2 oz became not enough volume for him to drink and we decide to get bigger cup. Having excellent experience with the small cup, I decided to stick with Munchkin products and bought 4 oz Munchkin® C’est Silicone! Open Training Cup with Straw. It was the same great quality as the littlest open cup and the baby loves to use it. The only concerns are that baby learn very quickly not only how to use the straw to drink, but also how to pull out the straw to play with it and how to open the cup and actually baby is having a lot of fun doing so. We consider the cup not only as training cup but as well as a product stimulating baby's development and skills, and see a huge progress on what baby can do using his little fingers. Also note that the cup is not exactly spill proof when dropped to the floor. It might be a little inconvenient for parents, but could be another learning curve for a baby. Overall we just love both Munchkin cups and highly recommend them. They are definitely high quality, nicely designed, very functional and just right for the little hands.

Easy for babies to use
My grandson started using this cup when he was about 9 1/2 months old. It was really easy for him to figure out. It is not leak proof, but is a really good cup to teach babies how to drink out of something besides a bottle. The cup is made really well and it’s so easy to clean.

Adorable and practical (but yes, babies will rip the straw out with glee)
Love the look of this cup and the size is really perfect for little hands. Very simple to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. I also really like the weight of this cup - it's not super flimsy, it has a good heft to it. Being able to use it as a straw cup or open cup is really nice. If you're looking for a cup that won't lead to a mess, this isn't it though haha. Little hands love taking the straw out and shaking the cup to their heart's content. If you're only putting water in this cup like I have, then this isn't a big deal at all, but don't wonder why your white carpet has a massive juice stain if you put juice in this instead.

Good for advanced babies
Very cute cup, my daughter loved it. The amount that comes out was a bit much as this was one of her first cups so we used it mainly for smoothies. Now that she is able to control her sipping, she loves it. Does leak if tipped upside down and lid is easy to fall off if dropped from highchair

Our go-to meal cup
This is our go to cup for meals. Well made. Lid stays on when knocked over (50/50 chance staying on if dropped from more than a few feet). Easy to clean and comfortable to use. Fairly sturdy base. Ended up buying multiple.

Great starter cup
Love this cup for transitioning from a bottle. We got it when my baby was around 8 months. At first I used a regular straw and put some water in then put it to my baby’s mouth a few times before giving her this straw cup. I also mimicked sucking from a straw loudly to hopefully help her with the transition. It took 2 attempts and she was using this straw cup. I also love that it’s a great open cup for baby to practice with too, it’s small so you can start with just a little liquid for those guaranteed spills when teaching to use a cup.

Great starter cup but messy
This cup is so cute! It’s easy to clean and fits perfectly for my 6m old. The downfall is that even though the straw has a larger bottom it is very easy to pull out of the cup and the contents of the cup spill quite easily. Overall think it’s a great first cup to introduce you just have to be mindful of the mess

I got this to teach my 5 month old to drink from a straw since she wasn’t a fan of baby bottles and it worked great. it’s not spill proof because of the straw but it’s fully sealed between the lid and cup so spills are minimal. It has some weight to it so it was a bit of a struggle for her to hold it at first but otherwise love this as a beginner straw cup!

Perfect. Lovely size and weight. Used by our baby as an open cup from 6 months. Perfect first cup.

Munchkin at its best again! This cup is lightweight and perfect for little hands. The straw stays in when tipped but does come out when yanked. The lid goes on easily but little hands can also take it off easily... it does leak when tipped bit overall I find it worth it. It's a great training for an open cup!

My 11 month old doesn’t like solids so we weren’t holding our breath that she would want to drink from a straw. However, when I put some breastmilk in this and gave it to her, she figured out how to drink out of it in a matter of minutes!! We were so surprised!! I think because the straw resembles a teether? Regardless, love it. The cup is weighted which helps give them the correct sense of importance when holding a cup. It’s not leak proof or even spill proof, but if you’re watching your child closely at their highchair you can pick it up quickly and avoid too much spilling. It’s also so cute!! Will be buying a second one for sure

Such a cute little cup. My baby loves drinking from a straw so it was a good pick for him. He can handle it himself and it’s easy to clean.
