Dexter: The Complete Series + Dexter: New Blood

My brother recommended the show. I got it for a good price & really like it. I need to get resurrection now to complete it. Well worth what I paid for it.

Haven't gone through all the discs. So far seems fine. I will update if need be. I have already seen both shows and loved each. Love the Dexter franchise and wanted to have a hard copy so I dont have to rely on streaming. If internet goes down, or the grid, I have entertainment during the inevitable apocalypse (lol?) It takes very little to power up a dvd player and tv using a power bank. Over the past few years I've been buying DVDs of series I really like, ones I could watch over and over. Again, streaming services are often switching things around, internet may not be relied on, and if the economy gets as terrible as it has been in 2025, I expect it to only get unfathomably bad and just want some sure-fire cheap entertainment at home if I ditch unessential stuff. I know DVDS are so old school at this point, but it's worth having a collection to fall back on. I'm currently done with adding to my collection, but I plan to buy Original Sin (and the other one that is in the works) when the time comes.

Great series

Invigorating.

Came in excellent condition, no scratches on discs, they were all in place. The box, sleeve, and discs were all in perfect condition.

Nice box set. The quality is good; however, I took away one star because when we received it, the discs had fallen off and were moving around freely inside the box. They don't appear damaged.

Great series. Never seen it from start to finish. I bought this series awhile ago but didn’t realize it was Blue Ray. Got a Blue Ray for Christmas, so now I can give my review. One CD skipped here and there. The New Blood series is really messed up. First CD couldn’t watch at all, on the second one it’s skipping like crazy. I cleaned them and now they are working good. So check for finger prints.

I'm not a drama person & I don't care for soap opera style shows, but upon my daughter's request I watched Dexter. It was honestly one of the best shows I've ever seen! The writer's are truly on pointe with knowing some of the psychology that goes with certain personality types. Great writers! I love Masuka & his crazy off-the-wall humorous interjections in some very tense moments. The characters are mostly realistic & quite loveable, even that "hottie with the body whose oh so naughty," Doakes. It's vigilantism with a twist & hypocrisy at it's best, but I love it, nonetheless. This is my 2nd time watching it all the way through. New Blood will be new to me. I didn't know about this spin-off. If they keep most of the original characters & continue with talented writers, I will probably like it, as well. This is a great buy for the investigative-crime-law buff. Great stuff!

Everything seems to be good. Disks all look good.

Amazing show. And it's great to have all of the regular series + the New Blood follow up in the same set. Discs play without any issues too. Though I would say the design of the box could have been a little better as it is one of those ones where the discs are difficult to remove.

Excellent, engaging tv keeps you watching. I just started the second series.
