This is the perfect little artificial aquarium!!! It is a bit smaller than I expected but just the right size! The little fish are propeled around the tank by a mini air pump, making the fish look like they're actually swimming. The background is a high quality picture and looks like an actual underwater coral reef! The little LED lights are cheery and just the right amount of light. My mom has begging stage dementia and was so upset that she couldn't care for live fish. I bought this for her for Valentine's Day and she is so very happy! I would definitely recommend this for a child's first fish tank or people with dementia as there's no care that is so easy to set up and maintain I'm very likely.

Not loud at all, the lights make for a great night light for my toddler, she loves that the fish seem lifelike. It is not as big as I expected, but I don’t mind, it fits well on her bookshelf.

originally a got a $7 artificial jellyfish tank for my cats to watch. not surprisingly, it barely worked. so, I accepted that I'd have to spend more and purchased this one. it still seems small for $20, but I guess that's the lowest price you can pay for one of these things if you want one that actually functions. anyway, it's bright and the colors are fun. the fish move a lot. there's a stopper, then the lid goes on, so we've had no issues with leaking. you can hear the fish hit the sides sometimes but it's very quiet. my cats are not very interested in it... I would need to get them a larger one for them to notice it and pay attention. but otherwise it works well and it's cheaper than similar options out there.

not that it's a bad size. it fits quite cozily into a tiny space between my monitor and speakers. it's just that now that i know i love it, i want one that's bigger that i can decorate like a real fish tank. the brass tacks: Approximate sizes from- left to right= 6 1/2in (17cm), front to back= 2 1/2in (6 1/2cm), top to bottom= 4 1/2in (11cm). comes with two realistic photo backgrounds on glossy thick-ish photo paper that appears to be water Resistant. they can be slipped into the edge of the base with the cap holding the top against the outside. also has three tiny fishes that can Just fit through the small hole for water to go in. (the ones i got were two "Nemos" and a little blue version of the same. i don't know if these are random or if All sets are the same.) should be noted that it has three tiny LED light; red, blue and green. they can Not be shut off separately from the thing itself. so if you want to see the fishies swim, you have to be okay with however many lumens these lil buggers put out at the same time. though if you wanted them for a night light, i suppose it would be okay. i just would have liked to have the option of turning off the light part when it's not really dark enough for it to be really much of an added feature. but, eh, i still like it. and my furry kids are Obsessed with it. so really, i can take what few negatives it has.

Bought this for my cats and they love it! Sets up in 3 minutes and can be powered by batteries or plugged into an outlet. Just add distilled water, w drops of dish detergent and the fish and you are done. No table to clean and makes a nice night light. Fish swim around like real fish. Love , love this and it’s a great value!

It is REALLY REALLY tiny. Doesnt even hold half a liter. I bought this four days ago, and it was super cute and fun at first, but right now? it turned cloudy within this past hour! It was perfectly clear an hour ago, and now it’s cloudy as heck. I know for a fact that it is not mold or anything like that. Im scared that this is a fire hazard now!!! No idea why it looks like this!!!
