Centres and fixes tapered blades. Additional stop for high knives, such as kitchen hatchets. By moving between the two stops, a slightly convex cutting edge can be formed. Cast zinc clamps, composite stops. Most of the weight is distributed across the clamps, which allows for a particularly well-balanced grinding process. Glides smoothly along the universal support with low friction. Compatible with TORMEK T-4 and TORMEK T-8 as well as older models.

Review: You CAN sharpen folding and small paring knives 🥲 - For small knives and low sharpening angles, use the jig cavity that’s closest to the blade. It gives much better control and lets you reach shallow angles without having to raise the support rod excessively. It’s definitely pricey, but I couldn’t find any cheaper alternatives that give the same clean, even-looking edge and bevel. Worth it if you just want good, consistent results without fuss.

For small knives and low sharpening angles, use the jig cavity that’s closest to the blade. It’s definitely pricey, but I couldn’t find any cheaper alternatives that give the same clean, even-looking edge and bevel. Worth it if you just want good, consistent results without fuss.
