Qualify Trimmer Head
Recently purchased this Trimmer Head and installed it yesterday on a Makita 36v Trimmer (the instructions suggest that it's not compatible with Battery Powered Units), seems well made, it's well balanced while running and the variety of hardware should allow for fitting on a wide variety of Trimmers.

Ok not great.
Does ok for the most part. In tall grass it can get stuck on blades. Also blades could be made of heavier gauge metal. Kinda of cheap built.

Think long and hard about it before buying this trimmer head
It appears to be well made! It was easy to install for me. I've had lots of experience doing it. I hate string trimmers in general, so I'm always looking for something better. This product might be used as a DRONE one day but it's not a usable grass trimmer for any normal homeowner. It's super dangerous! Because of the angle ground on the blades being located on top of the blades, everything being cut is launched up-ward, right into the user's face and eyes or some other spot on the front of the body. You had better be wearing safety glasses or goggles or you are sure to be injured. The outer ring stands no chance of holding up to concrete for any length of time. Soon, it will break through and start launching shards of metal at you or those near you. You cannot cut tall grass or weeds growing against any solid item of wood or stone or concrete. You are required to approach them from the top but the outer ring prevents it. They say it can be used to edge your yard. I was afraid to try it. How long could it last, rubbing up against concrete?

Good invention
With the protective strip around the blades you are safe from hitting the wooden fence and other object. Easy to use. This thing rocks!

I do not like the way it works
I do not like the way it works! It makes it hard to trim next to chain link fence and my concrete drive which is higher than the grass! I thought the round part of it was the blade when I bought it! That part of it just pushes the the grass away from the blade part! The orbitrim may work great around flowers though! Can I return it for a full refund?

Nice but problematic..
The idea is sound but the blade will catch on bottom of the chain link fence. One day use and the one blade has at least a 1.5 to 2mm gouge in it. I will need to file if I continue to use it. There is a strange thing that happens and that is where the blades meet the outer circle grass forms over the blade causing no cutting action for about 2.5 cm on each blade. The blade becomes unbalanced and you need to stop the blade to clean the clumps of grass off each blade. In the open for a short time the blade performs like a champ and getting into areas to clean that a string attachment would not be able to do. Well that is my experience with Orbitrim Pro.

Cutting head works without damaging wanted plants
I have looked for a stringless weed cutter for a very long time. This works well. I cleaned my garden bed without damaging the desired plants. Now to try the edging . . .
