Have not tried it with the computer. Bought this to scan documents to my phone and email to my boss. I am a truck driver so wifi isn't always available for me to use my computer to send emails. Need to use something press the end against to keep it straight when you are old like me and my hand wiggles. It seems to smooth out my mistakes. Should have thought a little before paying extra for the wi-fi part. With the micro SD card upgrade that is cheep on Amazon it is real easy to transfer a lot of documents or folders fast and not worry about wi-fi.
